triggs
Puel to bring Hatem there? He and Mahrez are very similar, although Mahrez could leave I suppose
Charlies
Claude Puel could become the new Leicester manager on Wednesday, 3 year contract. https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Claude-puel-nomme-mercredi-a-leicester/845073 Sky sources being Le quipe

Guest firetotheworks
Yeah, the football was absolutely rubbish though iirc. Might be a problem with the players that they have.
U2
Puel did fine with Southampton didn't he? 8th and a cup final? Yes. And he showed real tactical flexibility, seeing that he switched from a really expansive attacking game with Nice to a cautious defensive approach with Southampton. Their fans were just too entitled though.
Guest Howaythetoon
You see, I don't mind this type of manager getting another PL job because it's not like he failed at Southampton. He finished 8th and took them to a Cup Final. Better than someone who has just kept a club up or another out of work British Manager with fuck all on his CV to shout about. samptime29
Puel did fine with Southampton didn't he? 8th and a cup final? I felt the Puel sacking was harsh. 8th and a cup final is a solid season. Certainly not the worst choice for Leicester to be sniffing around.
Deuce
If he lets Mahrez loose the way he did with Ben Arfa, they could be potent again.
Figures 1-0 Football
Puel hired by Leicester.

Figures 1-0 Football
Wasn’t one of the reasons (or main reason) that he was sacked was because the players hated him or his methods? That could be an issue at Leicester with players like Mahrez and Vardy who seemingly have big personalities. Sure I remembered reading that somewhere. Guest Howaythetoon
Worked a fair bit in Southampton last few months and by all accounts his team was functional, but boring, and he wasn't as animated as say their last two managers were on the touch line. General consensus though was that he didn't deserve to be sacked despite many not wanting him to remain. Wrong fit for them I supposed.
STM
They have a good couple of counter attacking players. His approach might suit Leicester.

Seemingly was true, majority of the media went with it: Claude Puel has been sacked as the manager of Southampton after the club concluded that the players and fans were not behind him sufficiently and that he would not lead them to regular European football. CLAUDE PUEL is fighting to save his job at Southampton after a string of training ground bust-ups Sportsmail has been told that Puel has repeatedly clashed with numerous players this season who are unhappy with his erratic rotation policy, often changing half the starting XI for each match. He is also wildly unpopular amongst many supporters who dislike his negative tactics.
joeyt
I'm sure there was a stage near the end of last season where they'd scored less home goals than games they'd played at home, not sure if it finished the same way
Guest neesy111
They've started almost similar under Pellegrino in terms of goals? Isn't it like 8 months since Shane Long and Charlie Austin scored?

Redmond, Tadic, Gabbiadini, Boufal, Austin...seems as good as most outside the top 6 to me.

Maybe it would be easier if you told us where you haven't worked in the last few months, as you seem to be up and down the country talking football willy nilly.
