I could see Pep deciding to pack it in this summer as well, will be a surprise announcement as he lifts the FA cup to complete the double

Aye, his time at Man City is going to come to an end soon I think

Yep, feels like there could be a shake up next season, with opportunities abound. Would put good money on Spurs looking for a new manager within 7/8 months, too.

Definitely, their form in the second half

of the season has been very poor. A lot hangs on this summer window. They still need to make a few key changes, Son is getting close to the end of his time at the top level. Richarlison had started to show some form but he keeps getting injuries so they’ll need a new striker at least. They need a left winger and they don’t have much depth. If they mess up this window they’re really going to start slipping away

What will be somewhat (/incredibly) depressing is if Chelsea are the ones to take advantage of any 'unsettledness' and steal a march. Still an awful lot of repair work to do on their squad, mind, but you'd expect Pochettino to get them on the straight and narrow eventually.

Hasn't he already said he's not renewing past 2025?

Aye, I somehow reckon Todd isn't capable of a prolonged period of sensible decisions though.

Yeah I think Poch will get it right. Think they'll be top 3/4 but think the whole thing is shite that Everton fuck up for a couple of years spending big and it's ruined them, the likes of Chelsea can do the same and they're fine.

Really?

They are 5th in the form table since match day 20.

Maybe I’m talking shit:

August - P3 W2 D 1

Sep - P4 W3 D1 (including a win against Liverpool and a draw away to Arsenal)

Oct - P3 W3

So that was 26 from 30 points (ten games)

They then had

Nov - P3 L3 (hadn’t realised that month was so bad)

Dec - P7 W4 L2 D1 (against Man City away)

Jan - P3 W2 D1 (away to Man U)

Feb - P3 W1 L1 D1

Mar - P4 W3 L1

Apr - P3 W1 L1 D1

The first three months were their best start ever so I just assumed they must have had very poor form in the second half given they’re not likely going to get top 4 now. However, it’s been mixed rather than poor form

I think it helps that he’s been to Arsenal, been to PSG and not done well enough at those clubs to stay on, although you could argue that their expectations were beyond their means. He’s also had a canny time in Spain, so staying at Villa so long as things are going well makes sense, he likely doesn’t have a higher club to go too.

Unsure what to make of the rumoured Arne Slot appointment for Liverpool, still fairly young but pretty untested, no disrespect to the Dutch league by the way.

Considering they've gone from Xabi Alonso, to Ruben Amorim, and now this guy, doubt they'll be over the moon should he be appointed.

If they're genuinely getting Osimhen, then they'll immediately become annoyingly decent like.
