The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Steve Cooper sacked by Leicester

Gutted. Doubt the Brummie freaks have stopped celebrating their equaliser against us yet.

Eh?

Massively surprising, a team which has won 4 of its last 51 league matches (a period taking in three seasons) celebrating a goal to salvage a point. What do you really expect? It's nothing to do with you, it's about being happy to get one point more than expected. It's about throwing away leads with goals past 85 minutes in 5 of the last 6 games and then finally managing to salvage something instead.

As for the manager, RDM has totally lost it. Yesterday was hideous, playing five forwards and one in midfield in the second half. Totally lost it.

I'd take Bruce right now. He can at least organise us. The squad is way, way better than the current position, a modicum of organisation would at least benefit from that. The way things are at the moment, it's like he's wildly changing things every ten minutes in the desperate hope things will get better somehow.

Nah, the celebrations were beyond acceptable levels for a club of Villa's size salvaging a point at home in the Championship. Was frankly embarrassing.

This.

Are you guys being serious? It was a last minute goal, I think most fans are in the right to celebrate that, no matter what division they are in and who they're facing, especially when they've been shite all season and last, it was probably more relief for not losing more then anything

The extended celebrations and half of the stand behind the goal exiting their seats and rows and running towards the away end was really pathetic.

Half of their stadium were more bothered about goading the away fans then supporting their own team. They came out of the ground bouncing around like they had won the league, rather than sitting near the bottom and scraping a point at home in a game they'd have expected to do well in at the start of the year.

Haha it was definitely the occasion getting the better of them, like. They rushed the front twice and spilled onto pitch side, for the disallowed one and the equaliser. We thought it was bother but it was just them being nuggets. Truly dreadful away trip it is, a desolate landscape populated by muggy fucking idiots

You should be looking at the Brentford, Sheff Wed or Huddersfield bosses, hell even Chris Hughton. Villa are a bigger pull than all those teams, if the Doctor waves some cash in their direction one of them will come for sure and will serve you better than washed up old Brucey or fate worse than death McClaren.

They have been linked with Wagner from Huddersfield, would be a good move for us, Huddersfield would no doubt start to struggle, and Villa can start beating teams around us.

He wouldn't leave Huddersfield to go to Villa. I don't even think that's a step up anymore. He's got a great job there and Villa have been in a right mess for years. They've even been reduced to mothballing parts of their stadium because their fans have given up on them and if he doesn't hit the ground running the fickle knackers who still turn up will be demanding his sacking. After all they were on Di Matteos back after 4 games. They deserve a season or 2 under McClaren. I reckon he could take them back down to the 3rd Division if he's given a chance.
