The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Steve Cooper sacked by Leicester

Christ that is an almighty sickener for Wolves. They'd wanted him for ages and he had a good start. How is it even this bad? I thought they invested significantly recently, just not this summer?

They are absolutely broke due to FFP and apparently didn’t mention it to Lopetegui when signing him.

Three teams nailed on to go down this season. Never been as sure; these, Sheffield United and Luton haven’t even tried to put themselves in a good enough position.

Can get 11/1 for that to be the bottom 3 any order on SkyBet rn. Just thrown a tenner on it.

Is it just because of FFP this is happening or are they skint?

I believe FFP.

It's just so fucked up system, Wolves and Everton were the two teams trying to compete and when it didn't work out they have been fucking decimated. Spend better and all that but they dared to try and now both are in danger of going down.

Pulled the plug financially, not given him the funding he expected.

"Doing a Lerner" as we know it round these parts.
