toontownman
Could you imagine if we had got Conte at the start of the takeover. He would have walked by mid December. Seems like we got a great fit for steering this club back around. Amazing it looks like Conte will be gone soon. Likely just another powerplay but levy will have to spend a fortune in the summer to keep Conte. Maybe they will just get poch back. buzz
Personally think the old Bielsa method would've clicked with Phillips and Bamford back - but sticking is probably just as risky as twisting at this point.

Nine
Fans/pundits have twisted about his man marking system saying it’s the root of their problems but they’ve used it very effectively over 3/4 seasons now.. think their bad form is much more down to personnel (injuries) rather than the system failing. Shame for Bielsa and Leeds fans I bet they are gutted it’s ended on bad terms with him.

Tiresias
The Leeds team has been assembled for a pittance compared to some. He did amazing first season in premier league. However he does deserve stick for failing to update the squad (which was punished by a lot of bad luck with injuries). He is quite mad and stubborn and it was never going to alst forever. He got them to the premier league, they will pocket parachute payments and loads of money for Raphinha, Kelvin Philips and liam cooper. the money from them will fund a more solid push to be promoted again and stay in the league with a bit of a more pragmatic manager if they are sensible. I mean, without him Kelvin Philips would not be in England squad, we may still have some dysfunctional classic england midfield and we may not have reached the euros final. Bielsa has done incredible things for Leeds and should leave with his head held high. The critics do have a point, his man to man marking system is notable in that Guardiola cribbed a lot from him but not that. Wonder why lol. Doctor Zaius
That's them fucked now like. Fully expect them to go down. Think Bielsa would have kept them up with Phillips and Cooper coming back. A few heavy defeats but still think they had enough about them to beat some of the shittier teams. Mind, he has showed his tactical inflexibility like. James and Firpo have been poor signings as well.
