Smacks a bit of trying to recapture the glory days with an ex Ferguson sidekick but might help to have a link to the past that isn't so brazenly desperate like the OGS move was. They'll trust coaches and managers as long as they can see they're trying to play that style (and will remove those that do not or will not implement it). With each passing season Man U are doing a great job of increasing the legacy of Alex Ferguson - that last title win really was his greatest achievement. I don't think any manager will be able to come in and fix Man U, as the club is nothing more than a commercial entity and anything less than trophies and finals will be failure. Even then they've had managers that won trophies and finals and they were still sacked because the fans pissed and moaned. So, good luck dealing with that deluded toxic mess.
