I can honestly say over the last five years, the expectations of Villa fans have been lower than at any point i can remember in the last 40 years. Don't want him to do well because I want (and we need) Villa to continue to struggle and then Charnley and co will feel quite smug. However, if he comes in and get their team playing well and moving quickly up the league and we continue as we are, then even more questions are going to be asked of Charnley and all those quotes dripfed out of the club e.g. lack of arts in the city, too big a club for him, didn't interview well etc will come back to haunt them.
