Keggy_Keagal
Didn't Amorim do some sort of coaching apprenticeship under Mourinho at Manchester United ?

I wouldn't be surprised if anyone got on with Ashworth to be honest, given as he seems like an absolute sniveling weasel cunt. Amorim's release clause is apparently €10m. Considering Jim will have to stump up £17m for the remainder of Ten Hags contract, £5m compo for Eddie might seem a more attractive option.

Big Geordie
Man United will never sort itself out, until the Glazer's sell up. Poisoned chalice.
Joelinton7
He’ll be chewed up and spat out, reputation in tatters within six months. That club is a graveyard for promising careers. Edited October 28, 2024 by Joelinton7
Dr Jinx
Amorim I reckon is already lined up to replace Pep, that’s why Viana is making the move. Ornstein usually spot on but not 100% on these things.. I think they’ll approach and haggle and it will put him off. City are so much better run as a club, they just pay generally what the asking is and are decisive about it which is the most important bit.

Unless that's already been discussed, which I doubt as there's no guarantee Pep will go then I would be very surprised if he turned this move down. Doctor Zaius
I know nothing of Amorim but I hope it's not him. While their are systemic issues at Man Utd, I'm not sure they'll carry on being completely shit forever. A good manager can turn a club round. Chelsea for example seem to be back on track despite being a shitshow. Feel like we've rode our luck with crap Man Utd managers and they'll get something that works eventually. Having said that, id pay good money to see the soon to be Sir Gareth Southgate stinking out Old Trafford. I fear they've got more sense than that though
nufcjb
Well, if it is Amorim, and he still fucks up, it will be even more funnier and hillarious. You can bring in any promising foreign coach, but the PL is something entirely different to what they would have experienced previously. and if he does fail, guess who Gary Neville will still blame? Ronson333
Let’s see how good this guy is, much easier being top dog in the Portuguese league than the big prem. Remember AVB, similar age to this guy and was no where near.
