His relations with Tan had deteriorated long ago and Cardiff aren't doing well so he can't say his sacking is unjustfied . Then when given the chance like AVB at Spurs to step down he refuses, tries to use the sympathy he does rightly deserve to come out of this as a martyr. Not just that he should be sacked (I couldn't have a go at their fans or the board wanting a better man in if they can), but that the Norwich board are "clueless" for not sacking him, said by no other than the fella who apparently admires chairmen for sticking by their manager. I don't even know why I'm replying to you, you're a wind up, and obviously a very good one. Far be it for me to point this out but, me thinks Brett uses Hughton as a reason to gobble Pardew. The worst Hughton does the better Pardew looks. Well if you're suspicious of mind like. Don't think there's a huge difference in class between them, think it's close but i'd still personally have Pardew everytime. Just Pardew has a far greater standard of players to work with which helps him massively. Hughton has spent a lot of money on his team in the summer and so far he's produced shocking football and shocking results. Highly doubt it, would be surprised. Was recently stated in the Norwegian press that he would not want to go to "a club like Cardiff" as it was more important finding the right owner than the right club in the Premier League. Hughton, Di Matteo and Adkins all got sacked for less. Of course Tan's poor attitude has polarised all the attention but it's just the sad state of football in general. Well the last thing you would want when you're going to be involved in a relegation dogfight is the negative atmosphere and protests at games. What difference has his few weeks of resistance made? I think that it has only served to turn more of their support against their owner when instead they should be focusing on keeping the club up. A bit of the Blackburn situation all over again.
