Well, looks like the lines have been drawn in the sand.

Ashley is such a fool and going off his past form, things could get much worse before anything gets better.

If it goes full on, could get poisonous, may lead to, may need to, another relegation. but in for a penny.......

No doubt they will. He's like a dictator who punishes the people he rules over when they protest to lose the shackles that control them. Still, I hope we confront him; it's the only thing we can do to get him to pack it in.

The ronnie gill could quite easily organise attacks against the club using the fans as foot soldiers. It could easily go big and make a massive point not only to the club, but the FA and the rest of the country as its lapped up by mainstream news outlets ie sky sports.

This for me is the way local media should be run, for the fans, to protect their interests and not scared in the face of parasites that are wrecking the club and destroying its soul.

Gan on and fuck the cunts up as much as you can, send em packing back to London the vermin fucking scum.

A good protest imo would be everyone to buy copies of the chronicle and holding it up at the same time at a game.

From the man that not 24hrs brought the world forward by laying down the prontonise, comes the best and easiest idea for a quick fans response to the club. This is great IMHO, it's got to happen.

You Twitter mentals should start a "Buy the Chronicle" campaign, certainly for tomorrow at least. If this drives their sales up even a fraction, they'll go through the gears. They have to, the paper's on its arse. This could be the best thing that ever happened to them but we have to put our money in their pockets to really stoke them up.

Yep, a double edged sword. Will show Ashley what we think of him as well as encourage the local media to lead the crusade (in order to sell copies)

You know my friends, there comes a time when people get tired of being trampled by the iron feet of oppression. There comes a time my friends, when people get tired of being plunged across the abyss of humiliation, where they experience the bleakness of nagging despair. There comes a time when people get tired of being pushed out of the glittering sunlight of life's July and left standing amid the piercing chill of an alpine November. There comes a time.

I`ll take that. At least something is happening. This might have been the spark that kick things off.

Every day with this owner  and manager is a waste. We are not going anywhere. Its the definition of mediocrity.

lovely now if they could actually discuss the issues at the club and not just how offended they are at being banned that would be great until then  :sleepy2:

Eh?

They've been banned for discussing the issues at the club, turbodiv.

We all need to let the Chronicle / Journal and Sunday Sun know their paper will be bought IF they keep doing the right thing . We all need to get into our local newsagents, order the Chronicle for a minimum of a month or arrange to have it delivered for at least a month.

Can we get contributions together to take a full page advert out in each paper?

And absolutely, YES, hold the paper aloft in the ground on Saturday when we are live on TV being shown around the world.

The club's behaviour is shameful, and deeply embarrassing to be remotely connected to, just like yesterday's performance, like many over the last 15 months, and all of the actions which have been highlighted in this thread.

Love that cover  I'm actually getting excited about where this all could lead to. Some momentum would be wonderful, with increasingly popular protests. Whatever it takes to get this cunt out of this club forever and finally bring back the happiness.

You're cutting your nose to spite your face if you want to make this something about the media being corrupt and looking after their own self interest first and foremost. That's nothing intelligent people already know. What's interesting about this latest development is that by banning them, Ashley has effectively pointed the barrel of the PR gun towards himself. Now, we can sit here and laugh at the media, or we use them for our own purpose, whilst they look after their own, in a 'enemy of your enemy is your friend' kind of way. I know which approach I'd prefer.

and all the coverage I've seen in the media since the ban yesterday (nationals as well) has been a load of bollocks about freedom of press and how it would hurt nufc blah blah blah instead of far more important issues going on at the club like the SD ads Kinnears continued employment failure to sign anyone permanently in the summer etc its all just been how offended they are at media being banned.

Now if they actually go down that path (and sack Lee Ryder) then well done to them but imho the far more likely outcome is more self pitying crap and softly softly approach instead of tackling real issues and they'll be allowed back in probably at the next international break and claim it as a victory and how they're "razor sharp independent analysis" will continue and everything will go back to normal and nothing will have changed one bit in their coverage.

I hope to god it hast been leaked as just a warning to the club, then gets pulled, and hey what do you know, after a little break they are back in SJP.

while I'm far more cynical and have very little faith in the likes of Lee Ryder to achieve anything significant. I fully expect them to be allowed back in a few weeks and back to normal.

Include the most insightful posts off here, and also neesy's "prontonise" post and a few bimpy gifs for fun.
