So who's going to defend him for not playing Ben Arfa at home from the start?

Just as well lazy fuckers like Ben Arfa and Marveaux didn't start otherwise we could have conceded a couple of goals quite easily.

Just going back to an earlier discussion about the media pressure on him and the old boys club, Tony Gale talked during the first half about 'Alan gambling' by playing two up front tonight. Two strikers, in a home match. A gamble.

sacking him will make little difference tbh. Not that he isn't to blame for a lot of the footy, but our owner has no ambition and won't appoint any manager with any

Really sacking him will make no difference to how our football is played?

I agree on the ambition part but at least give us fans some real footy to watch.

Bad enough we have a fuck tart as an owner but do we have to torture ourselves with boring lifeless football?

Total Sport again this evening, couldn't believe that so many Newcastle fans didn't think there's anything left to play for, with 13 games left (before tonight).

Then they played Pardew's interview, where he mentions that we have a great chance of catching/finishing above Man Utd.

That would normally be great, if it wasn't the worst Man Utd team since the Premier League started.

Anyway... at least they can't use the 'we are 8th' excuse for the foreseeable.
