Rich
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27168531 Newcastle manager Alan Pardew on the Magpies fans' protests: "It is understandable. We had gone so long without winning and they are very frustrated. They want to see us challenging at the top of the league. "That is difficult with the finances that we have, but we have got the chance in the summer to hopefully to bring in some quality players and try to get into the top five or six. Perpetuating 'deluded Geordies' myths and lying all at the same time. What a fucking arsehole. At best he just doesn't get it. At worst he's one of the most conniving cunts going. Guest zicomartin
It doesnt matter any more. Now he cant even get to the touchline, he cant 'do his job'. Its now a game of cat and mouse with him and Ashley to see who blinks first.

He's Ashley's pal make no mistake. Ashley has rent a nod in pardew and pardew gets top flight experience in the best job he ever have mixing it with the real legends of the management.game without needing the actual talent part. Win win for all parties bar poor Joe Fanbase.
jdckelly
It doesnt matter any more. Now he cant even get to the touchline, he cant 'do his job'. Its now a game of cat and mouse with him and Ashley to see who blinks first. disagree, from ashleys pov he's completed the "perfect" season, top 10 (barring some kind of freakish results for palace) with very minimum levels of cash spent (2 loan fees) and the best player flogged for a nice profit mid season. Why would he get rid of him right now? What incentive is there for Ashley as someone who really doesn't give 2 shits for the club beyond the bottom line to fork out a large enough payoff to pardew and try and get a new guy who will match the same criteria as Pardew already does? To stay a premier league club. This and just looking at some of the players reactions today there's clearly a divide in opinion on Pardew in the dressing room, clearly unrest. I imagine there'll be a fair few players knocking on Ashley's door by the end of the season with a him or me ultimatum, doesn't bode well for the coffers if you're replacing half a team like! I'm not sure he'll look forward to flogging them at plummeting valuations under Pardew's stewardship.
Dave
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/alan-pardew-heaps-praise-under-7070198 The most important thing was a victory for our fans. They are obviously very frustrated and upset about the recent run and that made it a very difficult atmosphere today. They are obviously very angry at the recent run, there’s no doubt about that. But towards the back end of the season, we have not been that good and we need to accept that, accept that criticism and make the right calls. NG32
Such a wanker down playing the form. The results have been utter shit for 1 and half seasons. The start of this season wasnt exactly good either. Fck me how can people not see it.

Fck me how can people not see it. Because loads of people stupidly believe him each time he spews the same shit. He's conditioning them to simply accept what he says as fact because they're mentally weak. The gormless knackers swallow each dollop of shite he comes out with and can't be arsed to actually check to see if he's even close to telling the truth. It's laziness, ignorance and blind loyalty. Not sure I agree there. If part of Ashley's "plan" includes buying cheap foreign players & flogging them on for a profit then Pardew is failing massively. How many of the players bought in the last couple of season might make us a profit? He's not even trying to develop young talent, preferring to give time to players whose contracts are expiring. Ashley needs the club generating its own funds through transfers so he doesn't need to use his own cash, that's not going to happen if we start selling players at a loss. Mattoon
The only "little runs" we've had are small pockets of wins that have kept us afloat, the embarrassing, white flag waving capitulations are the norm. Rich
“I always knew one win wouldn’t change anything. The fans are very angry after our recent run and I just hope this is a small step to repair the damage. There is a long way to go and I apologise to them.” Errr, had there... Can't be arsed to go digging actually, but didn't he say the opposite to that earlier in the week?
