Rio was so cruel when we were suffering under Mike Ashley man. Just talking complete nonsense.

It's unbelievable how things have flipped and they are now the ones stuck in a rotten situation.

Makes me so incredibly happy. It's good and healthy for other fans bases to suffer a similar fate.

Too many of them think they are invincible and speak so recklessly.

He wasn’t cruel. It was self interest. Mike Ashley was selling his number 5 tat. He probably didn’t even believe the stuff he came out with. Sold out his real opinions to sell baseball caps

I’m not saying you do, but let’s put it this way.

You are from and live in Ireland (Dublin I believe), so it’s reasonable to assume that you don’t regularly go to Old Trafford, you are always on this Newcastle United forum, even when Man Utd are playing you are on here. You don’t partake in Man Utd forums, not sure if you go on other forums or not.

I’m sorry like, but you’re not really a Man Utd fan. Clearly they were one of the teams people in Ireland grew up supporting when you were younger, so you likely picked them because they were possibly the dominant team at the time, but you’ve never really fell in love with them have you?

Didn't know the litmus test for being a true fan was that you HAVE to frequent and participate regularly on your favorite teams most popular online forum.

That makes him even more evil and cruel!

Peddling that nonsense because of his goofy baseball caps man.

Hope he's enjoying the Ratcliffe era.

Most other forums have individual threads for most other teams, we basically have one for Man U and Sunderland which isn’t too bad.

My mum is a Geordie and my dad grew up in Gateshead but I've never lived in the Newcastle, so I find it hard to muster a proper hate for Sunderland. They're annoying when in the same league but for my period of following Newcastle (1992- ) they've been almost uniformly worse than us and often in a different (lower) league so they've largely been irrelevant to me beyond derby days.

Scum United on the other hand broke my 12 year old heart in the 1995/96 season and many times since. I 100% support a thread to revel is their demise. (If they ever start to do well 100% we lock the thread and throw it into digital room 101).

Makes it easy enough to just move on and choose to support Liverpool or Arsenal then, in the same way they chose Man U when they weren't shite.

To be fair we hadn't won the league in 25 years when I got my first top. ;)
