BlueStar
Wish someone with more motivation than me could make a supercut juxtaposing Rio's comments like "It's Ashley's club, he can do what he wants" and "If Benitez wants players, why doesn't he pay for them himself" with what he's saying now about the Glazers and Brexit Jim. Be great if Rio was euthanised.

SAK
Not against a regeneration project around Old Trafford as long as taxpayer money is not used to fund Man U’s stadium or if public funds are used for any residential or commercial development it should be carried out by unaffiliated developers who take the profit as allowing Man U to be the developer and take the profits would be wholly unfair and in effect a public subsidy to cheat psr. Wolfcastle
If they get tax payer funding this farce will be too much to participate in, the stacked deck is bad enough but that would be openly taking the piss and telling you so Edited 7 hours ago by Wolfcastle
r0cafella
If they are giving tax pay money to a tax exile good lord we have no hope.

Conjo
Literally says around Old Trafford. What's the fuss?
Stifler
18 minutes ago, Conjo said: Literally says around Old Trafford. What's the fuss? Outside of London, Manchester has had huge amounts of government funding in the last 20-25 years, so the government can say that they invest in the North. Manchester is like a Northern London now. It is now in a position where any sort of development company would be willing to invest in a regeneration project without the government kicking starting it. On top of this, the regeneration project is being kick started by arguably the biggest and one of the richest football clubs in the country, arguably the world, with many investors being multimillionaire’s and billionaires. The rest of the country gets no funding at all. Half a mile away from SJP you have the Gateshead flyover that is closed because it’s falling down, with the government refusing to give the council money to tear it down, and have rejected giving it funding twice in recent years so it could be taken down before it got to this state. The Tyne bridge is still awaiting its final pot of money to be approved to finish its refurbishment, which is at least 5 years overdue, again due to budget restraints imposed on local councils. The Redheugh bridge they fear is going the same way as the Gateshead flyover, again no funding for it. The grade 2 listed High level bridge is going to need a complete rebuild in the coming years, again it has lacked funding from central government. Let’s see how fast the government are willing to give money to us to develop the Strawberry land when we announce our stadium developments.

Proper Cloughie at Leeds vibes. edit: mind, if that happened, then Brexit Jim spent six months chasing Ashworth, created a load of fuss, paid us millions to buy out his contract, sacked him when he suggested Southgate instead of Amorim costing millions again, sacked Amorim at a further cost of millions, only to appoint Southgate in any case. Please do it, you useless tax dodging cunt. Edited 16 minutes ago by TheBrownBottle

Please do it, you useless tax dodging cunt. It’s a Richard Keys opinion piece, so it’s 110% wrong, and 150% said to gain attention. The only surprising thing is he never suggested Howe as his replacement, just to fuck off our fanbase once again.
