They absolutely rolled over for us then, I’ve never seen a Man United side look so weak and incapable and it was down to the way Amorim set them up. The two in CM was never going to hang with us but he knows that as well as anyone and still went with it anyway. It felt like he was out of his depth, but as the weeks have gone on he’s persevered and it looks different now. It’s all by design. it doesn’t look that much different though does it? They still get outplayed and defeated in pretty much every game.
Menace Posted Wednesday at 13:41 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:41 Seems like Ashworth has hit the jackpot whichever way you look at it. Cool few mill to enjoy, then no doubt walk into another Prem job when he's ready.

JT24 Posted Wednesday at 13:46 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:46 What was the fee that Newcastle paid Brighton for Ashworth? Was it £6m in total?

A fair bit less than that, although I’m not sure the actual amount is public knowledge. Media reports said Brighton initially wanted £5m but ‘a deal was struck’. Boo Boy Posted yesterday at 08:12 Share Posted yesterday at 08:12 Love it that most Man Utd fans have not cottoned on to the fact that Sir Jim is the Manc Mike Ashley (C) Boo Boy. Doing all the glazers work for them so they can take the dividends and relax.

Froggy
20 hours ago, KaKa said: He seems the sort that needs a run of games and to be relied upon as the main man, which will help settle him down as far as the snatching at chances goes. His finishing and goal record at Benfica was too good to be written off completely. He was putting away the types of chances we've seen him spurn so often at Liverpool. Don't think being in and out of the team so often helps. Going to quote this in here so I don't derail the Isak thread. This is a genuine question KaKa, so try and answer honestly. You're unwilling to write off Nunez and have belief he's going to get it right, yet you are very critical of Hojlund and you're willing to write him off completely. This is despite Hojlund having a better goals to games ratio at us than Nunez does at Liverpool despite being in and out of a much worse side. He has much less clear cut chances and way less service at us than Nunez does at Liverpool. Most importantly Hojlund is nearly four years younger. What gives? Froggy
Hey guys I'm just asking a question.
GeordieDazzler
Like Isak at Dortmund, Hojlund needs to go and have a few seasons somewhere lower pressure than Manchester United. He’s got the attributes too be top class but in desperation to get the next big thing lots of these youngsters aren’t being able to finish their footballing apprenticeship if that makes sense. Enzo at Chelsea similar situation imo, careers will suffer from being chucked in too soon.
