Whelan's yellow cards were soft but they were yellow cards nonetheless. Whelan is a thick bastard. Hughes shouldn't have been sent off. Wilson can have no complaints. Williamson's handball was 50/50 - I'd be fucked off if it went against us but I can understand why the ref didn't blow. HBA had taken the ball out of play. That said we could've had another three penalties and Adam got away with chucking Sissoko to the ground about a minute into the second half, so fuck them. You cannot purposefully play the man instead of the ball though, you have to make an attempt to win the ball when making a challenge otherwise it's a yellow. I think it was worthy of a second yellow purely because he told Cabaye that he was going to do him in front of the ref and then proceeded to foul him. It was thick as fuck.
