Goal ratio accoring to wiki is around the same as it was in his first stint with Milan fwiw.

Not bad for a player only 50% as good as he was :)

Kaka was never about the goals or assist the same way Messi and CRonaldo are though. He was about so much other stuff in terms of what he offered. Instrumental in that side that reached the CL finals twice.

You can't discount them either.

As I said to call describe him as not half the player he was is absurd.

Any chance of him going to the world cup?

Nah, that boat has sailed I'm afraid. Bigger chance of Robinho going since he's an idol to many of the young guys in the squad.

Robinho is such a waste of talent sadly.

Waste of a squad place If you take him imo

Robinho has done when he's played for the national team. He's all about joy. Past it just like Kaka, but a squad isn't all about talent it's about coherence and much more.

Milan don't even come close to that 2007 final without Kaka, technically he didn't win it single-handedly, but he pretty much did.

The semi final v Man Utd he was awesome.

 Don't know what Dropout is on about. That season Kaka did everything in that team. Sheva had left and all as well. Kaka carried that team to the finals.

Hat tricks in the group stages, that lung bursting goal against Celtic in ET in last 16,  destroying Man Utd in the semis.  That unreal pass to set up Pippo in the final.  Ending the tourny as top scorer and voted best player.

It's as close to winning a trophy single handedly as you're gonna see.

Still don't understand how that Milan team allowed Liverpool to come from 3 down to beat them. If they had won that in 2005 they would rightly be remembered as one of the great teams in football

Still are. 3 finals in 5 years or what it was? It's like this Bayern side.

Exactly they are like this Bayern but I think they were better than the Bayern side of the last few years. I suppose in many ways you could say though that final was like the Chelsea final for Bayern

They were the first team I took a liking to. Such an incredible group of players, especially when Shevchenko was there. It's too bad Milan held onto them for way too long, they were already an old team (midfield in particular) by that 2007 season.
