Guest Roger Kint
Have absolutely no faith that we'll get this done. Any other club would just bid the £12 million or so that they're wanting...we'll spend the next 3 days haggling with Lyon. Like how PSG did with us not very long ago? Eh? With Cabaye? They bid the low amount first then within 24 hours upped their bid to what we wanted. If our first bid for Grenier is the £9 million that's reported I'm pretty sure our next bid will be £9.5/£10million. Some people man ? We did this with Gomis in the summer, Debuchy last summer, De Jong when he was at Gladbach... Thats not what you said though. You came out with some shite about every other club in football just paying the asking price straight away which i said was wrong.
Guest Haris Vuckic
Why we can't just go for someone who is of a more realistic valuation, of what we are happy to spend, I will never know. Bunch of Mongooses. Because we might end up getting them.
sempuki
Not sure if it is good news or bad news. We are either getting dissed or something is going on.
Mole_Toonfan
Arsenal or us..... that's going to be a tough choice for the lad. Arsenal? With Ozil in his position among others ? Righto.
Sifu
I want to get excited by this but the cynic in me tells me this will amount to nothing. (Obviously I'll be delighted if we do sign Grenier).
Guest Roger Kint
Arsenal or us..... that's going to be a tough choice for the lad. Arsenal? With Ozil in his position among others ? Righto. Its French bingo. They cant link us to a player who we are already bidding on so Wenger is brought up again.
Dr Venkman
Can anyone think of one reason to bring this player in now, from Ashley's point of view. I can't. He could end up going somewhere else. Just get someone else further down Carr's list, cheaper. Next.
Dr Venkman
Can anyone think of one reason to bring this player in now, from Ashley's point of view. I can't. Can sell him for a profit in the summer? Too risky, he might take time to settle in. If we're paying upwards of 10m he'd have to do extremely well from the off for that to work. Next. Noodles
I can see us missing out on this one for the sake of a few sheckles. The lad will go to the World Cup, have a stormer and command a bigger fee. The NUFC transfer fuck up merry go round goes on ad infinitum.
KaKa
NUFC News @SSportsToon 5 mins Frederic Guerra, official agent of Grenier was called by the French press to ask about #nufc His response: 'I have nothing to say' Same agent as Remy apparently, so you would hope we were quite familiar with him, and he would have let us know if we have a realistic chance of signing the guy. In reality he probably guaranteed us we had no chance, hence the bid. Pack of monkeys.

Mole_Toonfan
He's saying because i said he won't play for Arsenal he won't go there.... Ok let me make this real simple.... they were linked with Grenier last summer but that was before they signed Ozil and the likes of Ramsey and Wilshere drastically improved their end product. Its not going to happen, they have bigger fish to fry.
