2. chocka

Translation: Full.

4. looker

Translation: Attractive person.

6. sweet as

Translation: Generic phrase of concurrence.

9. dreaded lurgy

Translation: Illness.

Usage: "Yeah, nah, the boss has got the dreaded lurgy and won’t be in today."

 

16. soccer

Translation: Football.

Usage: "Yeah, nah, I wish more New Zealanders called it football and not soccer."

Not sure if you have any of those channels on NZ TV/Cable.

How can I find out if the game tonight is on NZ tv?

 

All four games are being shown live on Sky arena. Around $40 iirc.

 

I should get it free consider the amount I've handed over to see them play in Wellington.

 

I haven't checked the details but apparently the ticket is for two games. Watching two football games back to back makes my stomach turn.
