Taylor Swift
He's better than some of the shit we've played in midfield this year so I'll take him. He's athletic, something that we're lacking in CM, and his passing is better than Tiote's.

Taylor Swift
That was more attacking than anything our midfield have done this year. Running from deep to support the strikers, what a novel concept.

Running from deep to support the strikers, what a novel concept. You'll lose game regularly 3-0 and 4-0 playing with that kind of ambition ffs. Lets just stick with defensive lovelyness that works a treat.
Guest
He doesn't aimlessly shoot from a cleared set-piece either.
Taylor Swift
Look at that run, taking on players in the center of the park, driving towards their goal. What a ridiculously novel concept.
Guest bimpy474
He's ten times better than Gosling, and is more mobile than Marveaux. Tbh it's irrelevent, whatever qualities limited or not he has, Pardew will just destroy them anyhoo.
Dokko
We could just pretend his name is Jacque, sure that will keep a lot of moaners happy.
Taylor Swift
Better touch and technique than Tiote, faster and can dribble... He'll start for us.
Ste
He's playing well.
Mole_Toonfan
We could just pretend his name is Jacque, sure that will keep a lot of moaners happy. He is not wanted because he's average, you don't improve by signing Jack f*cking Colback. Has sod all to do with nationality.

Gallowgate Toon
Why's he being compared with Tiote? They're not similar players. One's a holding, defensive midfielder and the other isn't.
Guest bimpy474
Why's he being compared with Tiote? They're not similar players. One's a holding, defensive midfielder and the other isn't. Except Pardew doesn't get Tiote to play as a holding player, and one of the main defensive problems we have, no fucker sitting there doing that job. Klaus
We should compare him to our full backs if Pardew is still going to be here, tbf.
junkhead
Colback can be a useful player in a 3 man midfield but Pardew will probably play him as a "defensive winger" in order to highlight the most of his shortcomings. Can't wait.
Varadi
Seems to have a decent turn of pace that I hadn't really noticed before.
Taylor Swift
Why's he being compared with Tiote? They're not similar players. One's a holding, defensive midfielder and the other isn't. Because Pardew uses Tiote to spray the ball like he's fucking vintage Pirlo and Tiote finds himself with the ball in an attacking position often enough that when he inevitably wastes the opportunity, I'm pissed off. Colback is a modern central midfielder, he's much better than Tiote.

Guest bimpy474
Been the best player by a mile today, i'm betting Pardew sees him LM covering our LB.
