Dan Gleebals
Scores amazing solo-goal, forced to find new club. This lad deserves a chance. Youthful, fearless endeavour - just what we need at the moment as the "pro's" in the team seem to be completely shot of ideas at the moment. We certainly need to be playing two upfront IMO, solo striker is just not working, despite all the final third bullshit pardew keeps proclaiming to be working on. steve_69
Looking at the squad we have now, we couldnt be more suited to a 4-3-3. We have annabundance of central midfielders, no decent wingers and 4-5 players who would be better placed further up the pitch. A midfield 3 of Anita, Sissoko and Colback looks solid enough. Take your pick from a front 3 of Perez, Cisse, Riviere, Cabella, Gouffran. Its the only formation that would make sense at the moment because anything else involves shie-horning players into positions that render them inneffective - Gouf on the wing, Cabella covering the full-back, Riviere isolated up top on his own..... When De Jong comes back we can revert to a different formation but for now we should be looking to utilise The players we have available in a formation that gives us the best chance of winning. Pardew's tactical philosophy is completely backwards. Even Neil Warnock said he goes into a new team, assesses what players he has and plays a formation that suits them best. He added tgat to do otherwise is the completely wrong approach. Neil fucking Warnock!!

AyeDubbleYoo
I don't think Perez should necessarily be starting, personally I would go with Riviere and Cisse and see how that goes. He's still a young lad, he's got plenty of time, but he should be featuring more.
KaKa
Think we'd look better in a diamond. Colback, Anita and Sissoko midfield three. Let Cabella play in behind two strikers from Cisse, Ayoze, Riviere and Gouffran.
Village Idiot
Ayoze's goal has made it to Marca, they are comparing him to Messi http://www.marca.com/2014/10/02/futbol/futbol_internacional/espanoles_mundo/1412245128.html?cid=APUMAR33903&s_kw=gol-a-lo-messi-de-ayoze
Shush
It's a great goal. Thought the lad always looked reasonably dangerous when he played for us. Should get 30 mins every games if not more.
oldtype
I suppose the less he's playing under Pardew the better
Skeletor
I hope he doesn't play. Would be a huge travesty to have a young talent like that be Pardewed into a new left back.
Troll
Alan Pardew, destroying Spain's hopes for the 2018 WC. Is he really that hot of a prospect for you? I'd be sick if a young American went into Pardewland. Good think Jozy went to Wearside, eh?
Smal
Did Pérez ever play wide in Spain, VI?
Village Idiot
Did Pérez ever play wide in Spain, VI? He played wide, behind the main striker and ended up leading the line for Tenerife. He's one of those young lads that still hasn't really developed a ''main'' position, though.
Pixelphish
Aye, Aarons is quite impressive too. Get a non-coward manager in and you we could enjoy two exciting prospects, despite losing HBA. One of us, one of us.

relámpago blanco
Hope we sell this lad if Pardew stays he's got some raw potential. He will never be a world beater but he's got potential to be a very decent striker.
loki679
He will play for Real Madrid. Can quote me on that

Ste
From the little we've seen of him, he seems a down to earth guy. Basing that entirely off him visiting a Blyth Spartans match, but that was encouraging to see. From the little we've seen on the pitch, I'd drop Rivière for him with no hesitation. Perez looks ready. He'll learn the league as he goes, which is the only way you can do it really.
Village Idiot
I'm always amused by all those managers that go "he needs to adapt to the league" but then expect the player to do it by watching from the bench

TaylorJ_01
I'd give him 90 against Leicester (if I wanted us to win). Would have him instead of Gouffran as a wide forward in a traditional 4-3-3 (not a pards 6-3-1) for the bants.
