It says the player wasn't registered for the tie vs. St.Patrricks.

But he didn't play in the first leg vs. Celtic last week in Warsaw....usually, you register your squad for each round/ and not each game. So if he was registered for this tie vs. Celtic, he must have been registered for first leg as well (In which he didn't play ?!)

In EL today by the way, Southampton legend Vegard Forren missed a penalty at 85th minute (if scored Molde would eliminate Ukrainian side), then scored an own goal 3 minutes later,  and then Molde missed another penalty in extra time.

The awkward moment when Iceland, Finland, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have more teams left in European competitions than Norway.

In the past Debrecen were handed a €15k fine for fielding an ineligible player. When Sion did it, they were guilty of much more.

Seems a little harsh to me, and previous incidents of this nature have resulted in fines rather than walkovers.

Bereszyński received a three-game ban after a red card last season, but allegedly wasn't registered for the two games with St Patrick's.

There is hope after all.

Sounds like they have been re-instated. All for a small error and about 5 minutes on the pitch, stupid bastards.

Totally undeserved and will no doubt end in hammerings all round(assuming they can even get through the next round which looks stupidly easier than Arsenals route but still hard for them)

Was Platini's idea to split the Champions/lesser teams from the big leagues. A rare one I agree with tbf to him.

Just caught up with that shit, seems it's not only in Brazil it happens where Portuguesa were deducted 3p for playing a suspended guy for 25minutes or so and in result of this were relegated instead of Fluminense.

Absolutely gutted for Legia. They had a legit chance of being the first polish team in CL groups since 1996 and that tv money could have gone a long way in helping their football....but Celtic are worth more financially to UEFa, so of course they get the decision. An appeal? What's the pint. No way Uefa change all those draws already made

Not that I really care either way, but Legia did fuck up.
