It still strikes me as slightly surreal that our perennially overlooked Rolando can go off to get game time and potentially be turning out against Roma tomorrow. Feels like the world’s tilted, and it should be Scunthorpe or similar. No offence/slight to RA, btw, I think he has all the potential/the world at his feet (third season in a row I have picked as being ‘his season’). Just seems strange.

Obviously helped by who their manager is.

It’s a good loan for him really.

 

Good quality opponents, a manager who knows him and will work with Rafa, and a new experience for him.

 

He has to make a success of it though. Last chance saloon really.
