mrmojorisin75
All comes back to the headbutt mind, why not then? That was the time. Yep, gross misconduct, would have voided any clause I'd have thought. I was surprised about that to be honest and maybe negates what I've been saying when was the last time a manager was fired for gross misconduct? or indeed anyone in the top level of football? Yeah, I was agreeing with you. If you actually want an answer - I have no idea Ah yeah it was just a general question to point out it's not really something done within the game really

I think Oldham or someone like that did last season but as for Premier League i really cant think of one George Graham? The bung business.
KaKa
Think it's simply Pardew is cheapest manager we will ever get Why do people say this? It's frustrating. Please stop.
sempuki
Some breaking news on the BBC website: Manager Alan Pardew retains the support of Newcastle owner Mike Ashley despite Saturday's 4-0 loss to Southampton. The BBC understands Pardew, 53, will remain in charge for Saturday's home game against Hull City. This is unreal. Fuck.

KaKa
Completely ruined my week now. Was so worked up leading into the Southampton game, and for them to come through with that result, I was elated! I'm burnt out.

In terms of the managers linked, bruce, moyes etc it's true. Anyway it's pretty pointless speculating the reason the fat twat is keeping him on, he's had chance after chance to get rid of him
Guest Bert Shaft
It just shows that the Bella Emberg lookalikey is deliberately taking the piss out of the fans. Roll on Saturday.

Ronaldo
The BBC know nothing, man. No cunt has a clue about anything other than Ashley and possibly Charnley.
r0cafella
Fully expected though. No source quoted from the BBC or press release from the club issued though.

mrmojorisin75
All they've said is he'll be in charge for Hull, we probably knew that anyway. After Hull should be a whole different story.
ads
The BBC know nothing, man. No cunt has a clue about anything other than Ashley and possibly Charnley. Aye, this is what keeps me going really. Let's be honest, all it says is that he'll be in charge for the Hull game, nothing beyond that, pure speculation from them probably based on the fact he's not been sacked yet. If the Hull game goes anything like Cardiff last season, his days will be numbered. When the players, particularly the new lads, experience hatred towards a manager, they're bound to let it affect them. When you lose the dressing room, it's only a matter of time before you lose your job.
Tiresias
Man we don't give the quality of Pardew's sexual favours for Ashley enough credit. He must be really good at it
KaKa
Saturday was so bad it doesn't make sense to leave him there until Hull. I don't want to see his stupid face in the dug out anymore, or his dumb remarks after the game either. He should be bound and cast out, preferably into really deep water. ScottishMagpie
Or could it not be he's been given one more game to save his job? Just because he will be there come saturday (which we all pretty much knew would be the case) it doesn't mean he "retains the support...." Maybe mike has been on this forum and knows the shitstorm that is gonna hit sjp on saturday, looking for that to finally break the kings spirit and he'll resign. Ameritoon
Pretty sure the angrier we get the more willing Ashley will be to hold onto Pardew. No other owner would keep a manager who won't even stand in the technical area for fear of backlash.

ads
On a serious note, I wonder what the atmosphere will be like on Saturday. The Cardiff game was a party judging by this place. Hope it's similar and the pathetic prick daren't venture out of the dugout, especially now the media FINALLY seem to be catching up, there might be a lot of attention on us this weekend. KaKa
One more game?! He doesn't deserve one more game though! So if he somehow manages a win against Hull, then what?!!! I'm not happy with it at all. Steve Bruce better not screw up man. I had more faith in Southampton, as Koeman actually has a tactical mind, and must have found it easier planning than he does when going up against his kids team's opposition.
