Ikon
“We are still looking for our first win, I think we have been slightly unfortunate but I would say that as manager. “We have had one awful game at Southampton that kind of stained us, so the response (Hull and Palace) was very pleasing. “The points total doesn’t give a true reflection of how we have played.” Just fucking die! Decky
Drawing at home to Hull after being 2-0 down and winning a cup match when they absolutely hate us doing well in the cups. Yep, great response.

sbnufc
Had a whole part (between ad breaks - whatever it's called ) on Ashley and Pardew on the Sunday Supplement (SS1) just now. Seems they're (southern media?) Pardew fans.. "he's had a great managerial career", "I suppose the one criticism with Pardew as a manager is.." and so on. Also mentioning Moyes as replacement, but giving it the usual "why would he go there though?"
henke
Also mentioning Moyes as replacement, but giving it the usual "why would he go there though?" I'm with them on that, Moyes would have to be off his tits to come here.
Village Idiot
Where else could he go, though? Spurs-Everton are to me the top English clubs he could aspire to manage right now, and he's already worked for one. I suppose he could go to the continent, but I can't see him getting a good gig in a top league, either.

I'm with them on that, Moyes would have to be off his tits to come here. Id love him here but would be a disaster. He isn't a puppet, would be telling Ashley to shove his job after about 2weeks. Can u imagine Ashley making comments like he did about Pards to Moyes, he would prob go in his office and nut the cunt
henke
If Moyes holds on til next summer a job will become available at a mid-table club who have ambitions beyond staying in the league.
steve_69
The only way I could see him coming here is if the club changed a number of its policies eg. Manager having some say on transfers, allowing him to go for the cups, no avoiding European places and being prepared to pay a higher basic salary. That seems like far too much compromise for Ashley. Mick
I'm with them on that, Moyes would have to be off his tits to come here. Managing us could still be a great job, we've stuck with Pardew who has been s**** for 3 years out of 4. The only problem we have is regarding players going and players coming in and I don't think we're a million miles from getting that right. A new manager and Carr really should be able to work together, all it needs is for a manager to say go and find me a certain type of player and report back for the manager to decide which one to go for. I see Southampton keep winning, and with all the players they lost. Must come from a manager that has a system new players just slot into. No magic required. Yet the media trot out the Cabaye line at every opportunity.

Guest Geordiesned
96% of managers in the professional English football have more league wins than Alan Pardew. Only him, Dyche, Poyet and Riga haven't won. So 100% of English managers have a better win record than him this season. To quote Pardew... "I'm having that!"
