I see absolutely no discernible difference between the two of them whatsoever. This. There's absolutley no difference to us. Our current line-up, planning, set-pieces or anything. This run, this approach we're doing now, it's exactly the same. It's a Pardew team. Rather than Gosling and Shola ahead of Hatem etc., it's now Gouffran and Obertan and Riviere over Ayoze and Cabella. It's Pardew without the suit and more tongue. As far as results are concerned, he's clearly done a good job there SO FAR. 7 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses. Whether it's worth £3.5m is debatable, but it's also not relevant at the moment. Was "he" worth it is another point altogether as long term, I think they will almost certainly suffer with him at the helm. The fact we replaced him with a fake carbon copy makes him moving on a non event for me. Glad to see the back of him and will be even more glad when Parver follows him out of the door. We have Carr in place and Charnley at least seems like he can get a deal done, just need that last, most important piece.
