Crystal Palace manager

Pardew is a better manager than Carver.

But then I think we all already knew that.

Not really. I see absolutely no discernible difference between the two of them whatsoever.

This. There's absolutley no difference to us. Our current line-up, planning, set-pieces or anything. This run, this approach we're doing now, it's exactly the same. It's a Pardew team. Rather than Gosling and Shola ahead of Hatem etc., it's now Gouffran and Obertan and Riviere over Ayoze and Cabella.

It's Pardew without the suit and more tongue.

Massive laugh at those thinking that Pardew is doing well at Palace like. It's like the last 4 years just didn't happen. We did well at first, as if spending £3.5m to bring in Pardew was a good move man,  clueless.

This is wrong. And you're the clueless one.

Objectively, he's doing a good job at Palace. That is undeniable. Any less belies a lack of common sense or intelligence. Before he joined they where bottom 3 or 4, few points from the drop. That would've cost them 20m+ if they got relegated. He's kept them up, it's been money well spent. Keep them up next year, would also be a big achievement for the club. Even if they struggle the next season he would've been a good appointment for them.

And clearly he's a better manager than John Carver man.

Bull shit, this is a team that finished 11th last season and have lost no key players. If they finish between 11-14th they'll have done 'average', any less and it will be a poor season.

He's fucking shit - Palace paid us money for a cunt of a man who is fraudulent in every single way of being a football manager. I look forward to seeing them "initially do well" before it all goes horribly wrong for him when he's lost his "magic" player via falling out with him, selling him, or getting injured. It'll happen to his "magic" player next, and the one after and after before he's got nobody to turn to and he'll get sacked or relegate them.

Do you seriously believe what you wrote? They finished 11th and their manager won Manager of the Year, that says everything about the expectations at Selhurst Park. Anything above a relegation scrap is a good season for them.

It's people like you that give credence to the delusional Geordie myth (and it is a myth).

I despise Pards as much as the next guy, but the numbers don't lie. As far as results are concerned, he's clearly done a good job there SO FAR. 7 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses. Whether it's worth £3.5m is debatable, but it's also not relevant at the moment.

Bit pointless arguing whether or not he's better than Carver, as both have proven themselves complete failures as NUFC manager.

 I just wish the fucksticks that own this team didn't leave us in a position where we have to fucking care at all about that fucking cunt Pardew. Hire a fucking manager you pricks. Fuck this head coach shit.

If they stay up (which I think they now will) then £3.5M is well worth it, just for the PL money alone.

Was "he" worth it is another point altogether as long term, I think they will almost certainly suffer with him at the helm.

The fact we replaced him with a fake carbon copy makes him moving on a non event for me. Glad to see the back of him and will be even more glad when Parver follows him out of the door.

I actually don't mind the whole 'head coach' thing.  I think it's a model that can work quite well given the right personnel.  We have Carr in place and Charnley at least seems like he can get a deal done, just need that last, most important piece.

Gonna fuck it all up when we give it to Carver, like, but that's not a systemic problem, that's a my brains are made of faeces problem.

Plenty of straw man crap there, even for you. And aye, you are clueless, you've shown that consistently for a long time. You just go against conventional wisdom hoping that something will stick and you'll be seen as some sort of oracle, when in fact you're just a shit Ronaldo.

He's not said a lot to disagree with there mind KI. We all know it'll fall apart for Pardew but it's been a decent move for Palace by any objective standard.

To be honest, most of the people outside Newcastle would agree with that view.  Face it KI.  It is a good move for both Palace and Pardew.

God it's going to be so fucking shit when Palace inevitably finish above us. I wish I had the self control just to totally ignore the rest of the season.

 It's going to be fucking hilarious. There isn't a fan base in England that looks crazier than us.

Pardew might be doing ok results wise but it's his ego alone that can destroy a club. That takes a while to take hold.

It's his downright stubbornness to adapt when the rough patch arrives.Dropping talented players who can guarantee goals/chances for favour of those that "work harder"

We've seen him for 4 years, how other people/Palace fans can say that we're wrong and think they know better is quite amusing tbh.

He managed to get West Ham to a cup final and still he left that club being known as a fraud and a clueless manager.

It's like a bus driving by with everyone on board laughing at you because your walking in the pissing rain, yet you can see the wheels wobbling and it's only minutes until they come off.....

Bringing in a new manager was a good move, making that new manager Pardew (for £3.5m no less) will end in tears and won't be a good move in the long run.  Don't give a shit what anyone outside of Newcastle thinks, they haven't got a clue what he's like.
