Crystal Palace manager

I actually read a suggestion to hassle his family get shot down as a step too far. It's not happening.

This is blatant crisis management from this new specialist they've brought in. Trying to discredit the image of bitter supporters with a real case, and instead project the image of a bunch of limitless thugs.

It's far more subtle and clever than the club's usual moves, hence I'm assuming it's this new guy from London.

Well his daughters were disgusted in him for calling pellegrini a cunt so brings it on himself, I never even knew if he had kids until I just googled it so fuck knows how it's getting to them other than him being a disgrace to the game and shaming his family

And trying to nutt a fellow professional in the game.

Classy.

Ironically, he's the one bringing his family into it. I reckon 99% of Newcastle fans wouldn't even recognise them. What a grim man.

Yup. BBC disappointingly eating it up though.

The London media does like to pick up on a story which derides the Geordie public.

I often wonder if turning this round personally is a way to get rid of the vile twat.

Banners about his adultery would make him start to panic...

I just don't think it's worth stooping to that level.  What's his wife and kids done that we should hurt them that way?  There's plenty of material with which to hit him without resorting to jabs at his family.

Probably would be a bit too far, his personal life is his own, it's the way he manages the team and acts like a cunt that I hate. Couldn't care less if he shags about

Fuck that. Stick to highlighting his endless lies and failings rather than going down a route that will just earn us bad press and make people feel sorry for him

Yeah I come round to everyone else's way of thinking eventually!

Just hard to take when anyone with any class or honour would have resigned already.

Bringing his personal life and family into it will really help this point mind

No one has mentioned or attacked his family, he brought them in to this. Basically trying to use them as a shield, class cunt that he is.

Dunno if this is to me with it being NPW but i was talking about CH's idea to target them not that it has ever happened.

He's a classless cunt, loads of managers have had worse stick than him and haven't once mentioned family

Souness did.

Another round of bullshit, deception and lies. It's got Keith Bishop all over this story, especially as it was reported he would be 'parachuted in' to help with the press conference

Did he? Can't remember that tbh. But in football in general it's pretty rare

Said his family meant more to him than his job etc.  We lost next game v Blackburn.

"I don't shy away from it and I'm not going to hide," Pardew said of the increasing speculation.

"I'm not holding any grievance against the media, or some of our more militant fans, or the guys who printed the posters.

"I've been out and about and had a few fans telling me their opinions, quite strongly. A few cars are diving a bit too close to me.

"I get it. I will go home, shine my manager of the year trophy and give myself a bit of confidence."

I assumed you made that up. Even for Pardew I assumed that one was made up!

But he actually said it. Wow.

That quote just sums up Pardew. He has the worst managerial record in the country this year and he mentions his manager of the year trophy. He really does think he's god's gift and luck is just against him, the complete twat.
