Deuce
Couldn't give a flying fuck about this deal to be honest. £5 million that should be spent bringing in a centre back to improve the current team and instead we're wasting it on some 18 year old whose not going to see first team football here for at least two years. Few expected Ayoze to make an immediate impact either. Just saying.
Foluwashola
Hadn't heard of the geezer until these rumours surfaced. Good to see us trying to bring in some young, english talent tbf. Look forward to seeing him in a Northampton shirt in 5 years time.
Disco
So we are prepared to pay more for a young midfielder from MK Dons then we are to get rid of our back room staff and bring in a decent manager with his own coaches? How many managers get sold for big profit?
Guest TruToon94
I know about the profit and all that... But to be honest we let Bigi, Abeid and a bunch of other youngsters rot away when they had the potential to be sold for a lot more later on. If Alli has any sense he'll reject the contract. Literally any other club not in the top 4 would be better for him in terms of playing time and coaching.

Mole_Toonfan
Not being funny but 5m isn't getting any decent, proven CB. Which is why above all else the Yanga-Mbiwa deal was so pathetic.

Honestly, a stop gap would do. Just anything to ensure Williamson never plays again. A player with a bit of height and strength to complement Dummett and/or Coloccini. Colo's replacement can come in the summer.

Ordinarily I would say there is no chance of getting relegated as we have the likes of Cisse and Ayoze to get goals even if we don't play well, but we are going to keep conceding daft goals like against Southampton for the sole reason we don't have a dominating CB. Guest ManDoon
Just recall Laceselles, it's utterly stupid. He may be shit, but fuck it, he'll be at least as good as what we've got
Teasy
Who says we can bring him over from Forest before next season? I suppose they'd likely agree to some kind of deal to break the loan, but we certainly aren't going to make that kind of offer.

Guest
Not sure we can. We should at the bare minimum sign a centre-back on loan though.
henke
If we can get a young CB who looks like he'll double in value then we'll buy a CB. Needing one means the square root of fuck all to Mike Ashley. Which is why I echo what someone was saying earlier, how can you get excited about a prospect coming in when you know it's purely for the improvement of Ashley's wealth. Mole_Toonfan
For the same reason people get excited when watching Perez, he's entertaining and all we really can get excited about.
Stuy_O
Graeme Bailey @GraemeBailey · 4h 4 hours ago Newcastle sources are telling us that they are yet to make a bid for MK Dons starlet Dele Alli. I know he's been as accurate as a Tiote 20 yarder since going to Goal mind..

BillClinton
It almost sounds like we are trying to get other clubs to step up and outbid us. We must have been in real danger of signing him. Can't have any of that.
r0cafella
More monitoring required. Maybe in the summer, why do something today you can do in the summer
Wallace
All the talk has come from MK Dons. Their manager mentioned our interest the other day but said we hadn't spoken to them. It sounds as if they are trying to get a bidding war going on as other clubs are supposed to be "monitoring" the situation as well.
sempuki
The inevitable "closed for business" statement which we usually receive early on transfer deadline day will be coming soon. Except for outgoings however for which we "never say never". Cunts.
