WarrenBartonCentrePartin
I would be amazed if Steve McClaren has had any input at all into the design of our kit.
nufcjb
Do any design like the 95-97 design, and you'll be selling shitloads of the kit. Some would even be tempted out of their 'wonga' or 'ashley' boycott. It's simple really. Do something that's right for business and you'll make the money. Yorkie
Haven't they sold absolute truckloads of the last two efforts? Some spanners even bought that pink training gear.
M4
Blue/gold shit, massive Wonga shit and massive patch shit on the back. Yeah, yeah... next.
Stifler
Gold, urgh. Just keep it simple and let us have dark red number and letters on the back.
Dave
These are the colors of the Newcastle United 2016-17 Home Shirt + the new Wonga logo. [black and white stripes] Wow, that is some top class inside information there.

Guest firetotheworks
But the mackems wear red and we can't wear that! Despite having had red away tops, red numbers, a red city crest and red in our club crest. As an interesting, unrelated side-note, I am also a fully grown man. Nothing to do with Sunderland for me, just think red is a crap colour. Blue always feels right with the black and white. The correct colour of a magpie too, no red on it unles you cut it open. Actually, f*** any third colour and just keep it all black and white. that's the way to go.

GavMcEl
I remember reading in here ages ago from someone who claimed to have worked way adidas or something like that and was part of the team tasked with making the jersey at the time, and apparently suggested to the hierarchy of the club about the possibility of adding red to the jersey.... Apparently the club absloutely shot It down and said no way !!!... And they said why cus of Sunderland ? But the club simply replied that it was nothing to with the mackems and said it was all down to that infamous match against Hereford !

Stifler
In terms of sponsorship I heard a few years ago that Emirates were interested. I wonder if they would be interested in a year or so (providing we come back up) as they are rumoured to be increasing their flights from Newcastle to twice daily. I supposed related to that United airlines maybe interested if they were to increase their flights from Newcastle to all year round daily. The American Airlines arn't getting much exposure, I think they would like to be in there as well, considering both Qatar and Emirates have prominent football sponsorship deals. It will be interesting to see just who will be interested in taking over our sponsorship considering we will be in the championship and any deals would seemingly be concluded well ahead of any promotion confirmation if we are to come straight back up. New laws which means payday loan lenders, betting shops, and alcohol sponsorships not being allowed children's shirts will also have an impact of how much companies are prepared to pay, and who will be interested. Stifler
Easyjet. Probably more like Jet2 or Ryanair, Easyjet have been cutting routes from Newcastle.
Sir Toon
Seen this on Twatter and it's believable although id have thought there'd be a couple more black stripes in. Can't see any gold either.
