NSG Posted Thursday at 21:47 Share Posted Thursday at 21:47 Priced up the full kit today for my son, including name and number and CL badge. £137. And they bring out 3 kits a season, plus other merch. I’m sorry like but the manufacturers and the club only have themselves to blame if people go to DH Gate. Some people boast about how cheap they got something for. But are you bothered by the knowledge that almost all of these counterfeit goods rackets are run by organised criminal gangs? God knows what your funds are funneled into but a quick Google search of this subject suggests some of these gangs are even involved in terrorism. I just can't believe any of these operations are honest businesses. Do you not care where your money goes but believe you are entitled to cheap merchandise, and the club are to blame by forcing us to buy from DHGate because the official stuff is too pricey? I'm definitely making a conscious effort to not buy off DHGate etc for the simple reason that I've absolutely no idea what I'm funding. I've no proof of anything, but I'm uncomfortable enough to never do it (again). However, the prices for the real things are utterly scandalous (certainly at the time of release, anyway) and I theoretically would say power to anyone using the fake markets... if there weren't those troubling unknowns. It's a nightmare for consumers really. You're a mug if you're paying full whack but you're potentially funding criminality if you buy from cheaper sources. I don't really blame anyone for choosing to do either; however, if armies of people continue happily stumping up for the initial releases, nothing will change. I refrained from making an unsympathetic comment the other day when that CL badge peeled off whoever's shirt it was.

I’m sure every step of the production chain of the real shirts has also been paying a legal and fair wage… I think if the clubs didn’t show such frequent contempt for the fans and nakedly display that we’re seen as customers there’d be more merit to getting animated, but their conduct makes it fair game in some ways. Theregulars Posted Thursday at 22:03 Share Posted Thursday at 22:03 For the sake of context I only buy the real ones, but mainly because I find the fakes are horrible to play football or exercise in. They’re like truck tarpaulin sometimes.

As I said before Newcastle are owned by the Saudis so in theory even spending money on the official stuff would filter money back to some really unpleasant stuff. Also that taxi firm or pub you once spent money in could be used for criminality as much as you know DH gate is. it’s a tricky one but I rarely buy football shirts tbh

TBG Posted Friday at 13:28 Share Posted Friday at 13:28 Were the old keeper shirts notoriously itchy as fuck? First time wearing my 95/96 keeper shirt and its doing my head in.

Kid Icarus Posted Friday at 16:08 Share Posted Friday at 16:08 The asics ones were even worse. It was like they were made out of cactus.
M4 Posted Friday at 18:42 Share Posted Friday at 18:42 Thanks for all the positive reinforcement on the last couple of pages. Tried Soccer03/04/02/... For the first time last month and got 3 kits each for my 2 young boys. So that's 6 shirts with numbering and shorts for 85 pounds. Don't even want to think how much that would have been genuine. Also find it all the more difficult to justify full price for the kids when they could ruin it after 5 minutes.
Stifler Posted Saturday at 07:36 Share Posted Saturday at 07:36 Ever imagined what our kits would look like if we were still with Puma? Additionally, what Adidas could have given us.
RodneyCisse Posted Saturday at 16:44 Share Posted Saturday at 16:44 Been in town today, and safe to say Sam Fender is single-handedly solved our psr issues with lasses wearing shirts.

Stifler
I’m not a fan at all. Are we really making that many sales in Saudi Arabia to keep having green away shirts?
