IIRC that season our away green and third was blue so maybe this was the logical solution, no real reason why we couldn't wear black shorts like. We gave up our season tickets the season prior to this as we lived in Leicester and were driving up and down every other week for the match and didn't think it was worth it. This was the first game me and my Dad went to after giving our season tickets up. I was only 16 but I remember being allowed to drink in pubs before and after the game with my old man and thinking how fucking magical it was.
