Stifler
The People price on Northumberland street has an up to 80% off sale on NUFC merchandise. No current shirts, but some from last years and previous years in there, plus other stuff.
Kid Icarus
Very crude photopea edits on my phone Edited August 28, 2023 by Kid Icarus
Kid Icarus
Mad how just switching the placement makes them very distinctly Newcastle or Juventus. That would be okay. Very safe and boring but better than them fucking it up. Edited August 28, 2023 by Kid Icarus
Scotty66
They look great. Wasn't keen on Sela logo at first but it's slowly looking better. I think the fact it's black and white makes a massive positive difference to any future kits.
Bimpy474
I just wished that kit makers would get away from templates and back to bespoke kits per team.

Kit's have always been from templates, really. Some of the greatest kits ever were a template...Dutch 88 (also used by others, Soviet Union Home). Denmark 86 was the Aston Villa, Coventry kit in essence. Even NUFC 85 Silver was Wolves Home the same year.

I just want a kit made for us, it's own entity, and without sponsors (never going to happen i know in the modern game).

It is actually possible to have an unobtrusive sponsor, as proved by Rangers in 2012-13:

geordie_b
Can only presume that the club are really pissed off with Castore to be announcing the manufacturer change like this mid contract. I expect they have been reasonable trying to exit early and Castore have told them to get fucked

Savage. Wonder if it affects the sales of this season's gear. Obviously there's always going to be a new kit next season, but putting it in people's heads when the current one has only be out for a couple of months might have an impact. Not that it particularly matters given the shite deal we're on with Castore.
bobbydazzla
Think the shite Castore supply chain and product quality combined with the ease of buying DHGate knock offs will have already hit 23-24 shirt sales in a big way If I wanted a shirt I’d buy from Adidas or Nike with confidence, even though football kit is massively overpriced. I wouldn’t give Castore any of my cash for any of their products Edited August 30, 2023 by bobbydazzla

Armchair Pundit
Sheesh, I go away for a week and come back to Adidas returning - I loved their shirts the last time round, got some brilliant memories of those seasons.
