Privately, I'm sure he's of a very similar opinion to the rest of us. The fact that he's employed by Ashley and that Ashley's his boss is a huge part of the reason. Like I've said it doesn't change my opinion of either as players, in fact Beardsley's comfortably my favourite Newcastle player of all time all things considered.
