gdm
I can feel this one slipping through our fingers. Why do we keep doing this?! So up and down. Give it a chance man, let it play out. McClaren is in his first week of the job.

Noodles
I can feel this one slipping through our fingers. Why do we keep doing this?! Probably because the man in charge of getting players in is the same one that took 6 months to hire a replacement manager.
Away Toon
This should have stayed in the rumours thread. Nothing happening here. When was the last time we signed a player that other clubs were also interested in buying? We play hardball on fees and wages and the players we sign nobody else wants. BillClinton
My only hope is that we were waiting till he was back from England duty to get it done. Unfortunately we all know what has likely happened..

Deckard 13
Liverpool are not going to spend £20M on 2 forwards from relegated sides. There will be pandemonium. I also doubt anyone fancies a go at displacing Sturridge from the side on their own, let alone with another player having just joined.

sempuki
Can't see us paying £15m and we'll probably be outbid anyway.
STM
I can actually see Liverpool signing Austin too. There all over the place at the moment. Wish we were all over the place, throwing silly money around.
Village Idiot
Has Ings actually signed for Liverpool though? They may just be considering their options. I can't see them signing both Ings and Austin. Better off pooling the money for a more established goalscorer.
1964
Inge was virtually a free so they haven't really spent much on him
STM
Think he's signed for them. This is Liverpool, they spent 55m on Carroll and Henderson.
ads
Two years ago they missed out on the title by a couple of points with Luis Suarez up front. Surely they can't go from that to Ings, Austin and Lambert...
ujpest doza
West Ham have Sakho, Valencia and Carroll man. Greedy pigs. My man in the south reckons he doesn't want to sign for us but would jump at the chance to sign for WHU and reckons there's mileage in the Carroll on a pay as you play deal.
