Half of them will be cut from the final squad, and the remaining probably won't play at all in the game. (Also not fair to include Winks in that list imo). Then add in our injured/omitted young players -- CHO, Loftus-Cheek, Shaw, Maddison, Wan bissaka. He does have a knack for scoring in big games, though. Don't know if England are at the stage to snub their noses at players just for that yet. Maddison not getting called up is bizzare. Maddison has been playing in a midfield 3 for Brendan Rodgers though I’m no fan of his but he has played numerous positions this season and has been positionally flexible if anything.
