Now everyone just laughs it off with a "what do you expect, we're fucking shit" kinda attitude. I acknowledge that I live in a Geordie bubble and maybe theres more enthusiasm is parts of the country where their local teams are shit but it does seem like the apathy for the national team has never been higher.
