Hell of a tough start, blimey.

I know you have to play everyone twice at some point in the season, but jeez that's a tough August, September and October!!

We'll be bottom will nil points for quite some time I reckon.

Southampton opener at home likely to be on Sunday as they've got a Europa qualifier Thursday before.

First 10 games (as twat used to say) will prove interesting!! Blimey.  6 of the top 8, 2 newly promoted and our rivals down the road!

Best get some new players in sharpish, could be on nil points come the the end of August otherwise.

Personally think a tough start on paper should have a positive effect with a new manager, a lot depends on the sentence above!.

Only a few years back the top teams usually come out firing pre-CL fixtures kicking in.

Since the uber-commercialisation of pre-season tours, fitness levels have been shocking across the board in the first few games of a season. Wouldn't be surprised if parking the bus didn't yield decent results against sluggish starters who don't quite have the sharpness to pry NUFC open.

All of the top 8 from last season in our first 9 games. Could be interesting.

You had a super bollocks start too last season too right?

If by 'start' you mean first 6 months - yes.
