loki679
He's contributed nothing yet 6-0 win in which he scored You're slipping, Ron.
Figures 1-0 Football
He also set up Shelvey's first (and our first) in that 6-0 win. Played very well to be fair, in his only start.

Tiotes Witch Doctor
I read it as a hot streak overall, not specifically against Norwich. I like Mitrovic a lot but he's contributed virtually nothing this season, obviously. Anyone who's played just over 100 minutes of football would be in the same boat tbh, hes scored at least, sitting on better than 1 in 2 ATM. You are his biggest fan by a mile. Hardly, just not getting on his back after just over 100 minutes of game time in which hes scored and assisted a goal ffs I do like him a lot and think given the chance he will score a lot of goals this season. Just keeping some balance to everything, Perez has been trash for 75% of his game time this season and doesn't get half the abuse Mitro gets.

Most people have been slating Perez as well this season because he's been poor for the most part. Whether it's Perez or Mitrovic, they need to be producing the goods consistently in this league, regardless of the goals they should be causing teams problems. Mitrovic hasn't really had much opportunity this season so maybe he deserves a chance. Even if he doesn't get on the score sheet he should be holding the ball up and bringing players into the game effectively. It will be interested to see how he gets on tonight if he starts. Tubestationatmidnight
There's a reason he has only had that amount of pitch time. Relying on him to get the goals to take us back up was always a risky move

DJ_NUFC
He's statistically our best striker so far this season. I agree. Big Sam is also statistically the best England manager ever.
Newcastle Fan
Played his part, needs to start with Gayle upfront.

Shak
Baffling that people seem to have developed a dislike of the guy based on a couple of poor sub performances. He's had one start so far and we won 6-0 and were excellent, by all accounts. Hope he gets a proper run in the team soon.
AyeDubbleYoo
Personally I would give him a run of games now, but I doubt Rafa will change his system.
louistoon
He just gives our attack a focal point. Play Gayle off him till Jan and then buy a proper attacking midfielder/ number 10 so we have more options with our formation.
SUPERTOON
We have scored 8 goals in the time he has been given a decent amount of time on the pitch. He is absolutely ideal for this league and will hopefully start from now on.

Guest neesy111
Also for those wanting him in the team, you must want a Sam allardyce long ball game then?
Ronaldo
We also looked much better with him on the field.

Gallowgate Toon
Also for those wanting him in the team, you must want a Sam allardyce long ball game then? Absolutely nothing wrong with having long ball to your game. He has the hold up to play long & short.
Gallowgate Toon
We also looked much better with him on the field. Better than the first half? Not that I'm not advocating playing him, just curious.
Disco
Wasn't even that good when he came on but changed it appropriately enough as he played a key role in them shitting themselves.
