Hanshithispantz
Joselu is far more mobile like, which is what Rafa wants.

Teasy
On evidence of the last 3 games, honestly believe Mitro offers us as much if not more in the build/link up department and is a better finisher than Joselu, if only he could stay available for selection he would be our best option in a one up top formation, in my view. I think he does offer as much in build up play. Though, at least at this early stage, Joselu looks to have a better instinct for getting into goal scoring positions. Still think Mitrovic can be a good option though.
TRon
Is his ban over yet? He was on a bit of a scoring streak, would be useful to get him involved while his confidence is still high.

joeyt
He might not even make the bench. Looking at our bench from the weekend and I'm not sure who Rafa would drop from that to make room for him apart from maybe Diame

Disco
He might not even make the bench. Looking at our bench from the weekend and I'm not sure who Rafa would drop from that to make room for him apart from maybe Diame Dwight Gayle? (I'm not advocating this) More suited to the way we play than him it could be argued by folk who don't hate him more than life itself.

Gayle has been totally ineffective so far this season, but I still think he's the best finisher at the club. But yeah, the way we play isn't getting much out of him at all. I still think we need him on the bench just to give us something different up front.
joeyt
I thought Gayle too but if we need something different from the bench then Gayle would be a different alternative than Mitrovic if we're already starting Joselu

Odear
Mitrovic has been looking far better in his little cameos so far this season. He gets huge stick but he's a young lad moving from an easy league to the hardest one in the world. It might just be the case that he's needed a bit longer than average to settle in. The dippers will be more worried about facing him than Joselu or Gayle..

I wouldn't hesitate to start him personally however I highly doubt Rafa will, in fact I'll be surprised if he even makes the bench.
triggs
Think we need someone more mobile in a game we're not gonna dominate, especially with his lack of matches. Would be happy to give him a start in a different game though

Altamullan
Play with the young(er) Anfield imposter's mind... play Shlevey and Merino and Ritchie all pinging high balls through the channels for Mitrovic to chest off to the other two (and others) ghosting in like Wijnaldum at a home game. (... the f***er's going to score isn't he...).
