Everton vs Newcastle United - 03/02/16 @ 7.45pm (No TV)

The midweek Match of the Day is on Tuesday this week so our game won't be covered. Magedia

Eh? How does that make any sense?

Eight games tonight and only two tomorrow, tbf.

Why not just put it on tomorrow then or have a MotD2 tomorrow like on Sundays?

Hard to predict what we'll set up or even play like. Depends how the new players gel and who plays, this could go either way. The only thing that's a certainty is that we'll play 'tremendous'.

Aye, it'll only be our finishing that lets us down, keep playing like that and we'll be fine...

A lot of people were OK or more with our January signings, but predicting some a lot of losses here? Sounds like we didn't have such a good window after all!

It's been 6 games since Everton saw a win at home. We've only lost by 1 goal in the last three away games, and picked up two wins in the last 6. Id like to think with the four new players we would be able to have a go and come away with something tonight.

If they play at their best at home though, they win 7 out of 10 times against us surely? Baines, Coleman, Mori, Stones, Barkley, Deulofeu, Lukaku....all good players.

Not to say we shouldn't be able to get something but their team is better than their form.

We've gone to Spurs and beaten them despite better team and form. We can do it, things are now so desperate that staying up depends on us beating this lot or more fixtures of this ilk.

Just watched a snippet of McClarens press conference for this on Sky, in 1 minute he went into great detail on why we will lose this

Sky obviously wanted to show him wanking Martinez off, no mention of our signings or what we are going to try to do.

We are absolutely brutal away from home.  Against their shoddy defence, it would be nice to see us score a goal or two.  Improve on our great tally of 6 away goals

At home, I actually fancy us to win quite a lot of the time.  But away from home, we are pathetic.  McClaren sets us up 'not to lose', we concede and then we're fucked.  It's been the case with our club for the last 3 seasons or more.  Which is odd, seeing as we have rarely had the players to make this game plan work.
