Aye , born a mackem I can't deny it . And I followed Newcastle religiously for 40+ years , first team , reserves and anybody remember the "N"s?... Probably not , but it was the youth team whom I also spent time watching.  So draw your own conclusions as to where my loyalties lie . I simply made an observation about the match day experiences I encountered at these recent games and didn't suggest this was in any way the status quo . I don't have any ulterior motives , or designs for Internet warriorship for the post..... Just an observation , but dissect and lambaste if that's your thing

Far better just admitting you are a red and white. Coming on here and trying a wind-up is nout new and has been done before. :)

Big Geordie mate , I've admitted to being born amongst them but you have no idea how wrong you are by calling me red and white. Your avatar photo.... David Kelly , there's a 99% chance I was at that game. No mate , all my family are / were black & white and always will be. But no matter , the Internet society will decide for itself .

Come on here to try and wind people up and that's the best you can come up with? You haven't been watching anything for 40 years other than multiple spunk cells inside your dads ball sack. You are probably about 14, or if not you are mentally retarded.

Your very first post was in the Sunderland thread and about how the atmosphere at the stadium of Light is better than at St James'. People aren't that daft, especially over something that's quite obviously not true.

I got it in about not being a mackem because I knew how the truth about the comparison of the two games would be perceived .... Truth believe or not

No true mag would go to the shit tip, free or not.

So keep going, dig a little deeper and for even the reason you claim you are a massive bellend .

Wallsend Mag just fessed up to doing that. Always suspected he was a Mackem fifth columnist.

I wrapped in my ST at SJP 4 years ago. I've been to 3 games at the ground since - Everton last boxing day, Wolves in the cup the other week and Norwich at home last week. The atmosphere on all 3 occasions has been absolutely desperate bar the last few minutes vs Norwich.

I haven't been at a Sunderland home game for a few years. I used to go along for the odd corporate do - the last one being Sunderland v West Ham on a midweek night. The atmosphere then was also absolutely shite.

In fact, in recent years, every home atmosphere I've been to has been hopeless apart from Glasgow Rangers games, and I thought Leicester were decent against us last season - they were going for the league and had them stupid clapper things so a good atmosphere was to be expected.

I can't think of any other stadium I've visited over the last 5 years or so, where the home crowd have racked up a good atmosphere. I think it's a nationwide problem more than a regional problem with Newcastle/Sunderland.

On the reverse side, Newcastle and Sunderland have two of the best away followings going at the minute given our geographical location.
