WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Strange Mackem is conspicuous by his absence since he was outed as RTG's top poster. Is he still around ? Who was/is he on there?

YNGLEGIONNAIRE
Aye , born a mackem I can't deny it . And I followed Newcastle religiously for 40+ years , first team , reserves and anybody remember the "N"s?... Probably not , but it was the youth team whom I also spent time watching. So draw your own conclusions as to where my loyalties lie . I simply made an observation about the match day experiences I encountered at these recent games and didn't suggest this was in any way the status quo . I don't have any ulterior motives , or designs for Internet warriorship for the post..... Just an observation , but dissect and lambaste if that's your thing

YNGLEGIONNAIRE
Big Geordie mate , I've admitted to being born amongst them but you have no idea how wrong you are by calling me red and white. Your avatar photo.... David Kelly , there's a 99% chance I was at that game. No mate , all my family are / were black & white and always will be. But no matter , the Internet society will decide for itself .
Guest
It's just a weird cut off point that's all. I know Keegan had not long left but still.
YNGLEGIONNAIRE
True it isa bit weird, but it wasn't a knee jerk decision , it was the gradual erosion of the special atmosphere of St James's
Kevo
Come on here to try and wind people up and that's the best you can come up with? You haven't been watching anything for 40 years other than multiple spunk cells inside your dads ball sack. You are probably about 14, or if not you are mentally retarded. Scoot
If you hadn't said "definitely not a mackem" straight away then you might have got away with it for an hour or so. Massive schoolboy error.

Andy
Reads a bit like RTG's users shouting "mag" at first opportunity in here like I haven't been to the stadium of light recently but the atmosphere at SJP generally is cack these days tbf, especially if we're losing

Guest firetotheworks
Your very first post was in the Sunderland thread and about how the atmosphere at the stadium of Light is better than at St James'. People aren't that daft, especially over something that's quite obviously not true.

Andymc1
I wrapped in my ST at SJP 4 years ago. I've been to 3 games at the ground since - Everton last boxing day, Wolves in the cup the other week and Norwich at home last week. The atmosphere on all 3 occasions has been absolutely desperate bar the last few minutes vs Norwich. I haven't been at a Sunderland home game for a few years. I used to go along for the odd corporate do - the last one being Sunderland v West Ham on a midweek night. The atmosphere then was also absolutely shite. In fact, in recent years, every home atmosphere I've been to has been hopeless apart from Glasgow Rangers games, and I thought Leicester were decent against us last season - they were going for the league and had them stupid clapper things so a good atmosphere was to be expected. I can't think of any other stadium I've visited over the last 5 years or so, where the home crowd have racked up a good atmosphere. I think it's a nationwide problem more than a regional problem with Newcastle/Sunderland. On the reverse side, Newcastle and Sunderland have two of the best away followings going at the minute given our geographical location.
