If they go down, thats been their golden years.

10 years in the top flight, a cup final, 7 relegation fights. not a sniff of Europe

granted the derby wins give them that- thats it their golden era.

Just remember we had the Keegan era, the Robson years, 100+ games in Europe.

Honestly you should actually rad up on their history, it's f***ing nowhere near their golden years tbf.

And you want to read up on ours if you think that's our golden years.... cp40 was obviously comparing recent history.

Not like Nessy to be chatting shit.

You are obsessed with my posts.  But carry on.

why the fuck are you being so contrary these days?  you seem to be looking for someone to argue about in every thread

The amount of people picking me up on anything these days on this forum is getting pathetic.  So I'm going to be a tedious wanker to others as that's is only fair.

Its cool it was all a bit of joke and the female enjoyed the banter according to RTG.

Thought that.  Well they are 50 years behind the rest of society.

listening to Gary Bennet, who was seen talking to short recently- he has been making it clear they want to stick with him long term and rebuild.

probs the best thing they could do as a club tbh.

Would be interesting to see if there is consistency in opinions over there with those who are using this as an opportunity to bin him (given his performance) with the opinions held on Johnson at the time  who was a key component in the squad.

I suspect I already know the answer.  If he was 14th it would be 'He slaps who he wants...'

They are a club that clearly needs relegation and change the whole club.

They're £180m debt. Relegation is the last thing they need! If they go down they aren't doing what we're doing and coming straight back up either.

We are £150m in the red for context.  It's just numbers.

Yeah it may, and probably would have been, good for them a few years ago to break the downward spiral of a wasteful transfer policy and changing managers every season.

It's too late now. Their hole has got a whole lot deeper and it could be a long painful period without the premier league cash.

It really isn't tbf. We are in debt to our owner and pay (virtually) no interest on that. They are over £180m.in debt and are reported to be paying 8% interest on a lot of that which is crippling them. Plus we are a far bigger club than they are and are capable of generating far more money than they do.

Ask Portsmouth, Coventry, Bolton or Leeds fans if debt is merely just numbers.
