ianovthetoon
3 of the 12 away fans work at our place and only went cos they're related to Adam Campbell - not much of a travel from Houghton le Spring
mattypnufc
Tbf, I'd like to have seen the pictures from the rest of the ground. Could hardly complain about an away following for that kind of a match either.
Figures 1-0 Football
Glad to see they are making their U23s play in front of an empty stadium full of pink seats to prepare them for what it is like to play first team football.

Wilson
'25million minimum for Pickford'
bhoywhonder
25 million. So 8 million more than Bravo, 7 million more than De Gea and Neuer, over twice as much as Cech. Jordan 'Clean sheet? Me?' Pickford - Twenty. Five. Million. Pounds. What a bunch of clueless arseholes safc fans are proving themselves to be this season. Also, he looks too small. And soft. And sh*te. BlackandWhite
Nothing new. As soon as any of their players hit good form all of sudden he's a global superstar worth as much as any player in the world. Boring.
Scoot
Their lack of football knowledge is utterly astounding, the fucken idiots.
Ketsbaia
Pickford is promising but, as always, they've taken things to the extreme.
shintonsghost
Pickford was shocking against Arsenal, i havent seen much of him but he came for 2 corners and missed them both, he looks nervous as fuck and seems to believe the hype around too much, a bit like joe hart , a cocky cunt

Figures 1-0 Football
He looks okay, nothing more than that though. He's had some shockingly dodgy moments this season like. He isn't better than any keeper is the current top 6 and I doubt anyone else in the league would pay a substantial fee for him. Especially when they go down and have to sell players on the cheap to fund their debts.
Benwell Lad
Unsurprisingly goalkeepers tend to catch the eye in really shite teams.

bhoywhonder
tbf to them, they have climbed down. £40m being suggested here. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/the-jordan-pickford-cash-builder.1294405/ Anything less than £25-30m and we've been done. I wouldn't be surprised if Barca looked at Pickford The worrying thing is if pep sees pickers amazing distribution he will want him, We should keep him and go for top four ourselves. Is anyone else beginning to think supporting safc could medically be classed as a mental illness? Wouldn't be too bothered personally, we always seem to land on our feet with keepers. Oh aye, your track record in that regard is flawless... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craig_Gordon
NG32
Its nothing new, they were claiming Andy Melville (I think his name was) was the best footballing centre back in Europe in the 90s.

xLiaaamx
He's not doing anything astounding though. Keepers always look decent when they have a lot to do. Unless it's Jak Alnwick.

shintonsghost
I like it how some of them think one victory has got them from being nailed on to go down to staying up I can see their optimism tbf, if they beat Hull which they surely must they are back in the hunt.the saving grace ive said all along is if they can stay in touch their best 11 will save them.they can grind out spawny wins, the teams above them are not pulling away , the win at Bmouth was a big lift and could just give the cunts the belief they lack. I now fully expect them to get out of it.

I now fully expect them to get out of it. It's between them, Hull, Swansea, Boro and Burnley. Problem is the likes of Boro and Burnley are picking up points against the top teams and one lucky win isn't going to change that they are a shocking team. They are still a minimum of 2 wins off safety and there is no way on earth that team will put any run of games together. The only hope they have is staying in the race until January and spend some cash (big cash also) and they don't have the cash to do it. The likes of Coventry, Southampton and Wigan did the same escape act for a few years but they were evenutally relegated - just can't see them getting out of it personally and they will go down with Hull and Swansea imho.
