Guest Howaythetoon
If he keeps yous up he will do a good overall job for yous. In fact keeping yous up will be considered or should be considered a job done good. Especially given your last 3 years and general poor state of your squad. shintonsghost
i see Moyes is the man again, you a fan? I'm pretty ambivalent towards him. I hated his negativity, especially at the start of the season, but his record at Everton suggests he should do a decent job for us. We simpply have to stop sacking managers so if/when we go down we should keep him. i looked at the game bacK on SM, you's looked very good, one thing in ya favour is the team now looks up for a fight, sadly
Stray Mackem
i looked at the game bacK on SM, you's looked very good, one thing in ya favour is the team now looks up for a fight, sadly The same sh*t every year TBH. It's gone past the point of being frustrating. Yes it's great staying up at the end of the season because even brief euphoria is enjoyable but the following August just brings the same misery. We somehow need to break the cycle. If that means getting relegated then I'd probably take it.
Karjala
If these do stay up, theres no doubt its another season in the bottom 6 like, squad full of shite with one man single handedly keeping them in with a chance.

bhoywhonder
Scrape survival, humiliation. Scrape survival, humiliation. Scrape survival, humiliation. Stink the Fkin place out year and year and year again. Supporting safc is basically this: Just take relegation already, have a shred of dignity you sub-mediocre ballbags. Reminds me of when our players were rewarded for their shit performances last year with a two week trip to Portugal. Unbelievable.
Benwell Lad
Quite a stunning result and important 3 points for them, however it should be taken in the context of what it was, a freak result that happens from time to time in football, against a team who have some serious problems. They're awful and the league table doesn't lie.
Guest alijmitchell
Could quite possibly be Leicester, Palace, Boro though. Mackems have experience at this and Defoe. I see them surviving. Utter turds that hey are Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk IF -and it's a big if- we go up I'd be quite happy with this scenario. Would like to have a crack at them next season, particularly if -and this is a bigger if- Rafa is backed in the summer and Defoe is given his wish of a transfer to London. Would feel a bit like a missed opportunity we go up and they come down. Firstly without Defoe they'd likely fill a a relegation place and also fuck knows we have some derby day scores to settle. Obviously if they did go down I wouldn't be shedding any tears mind.

Figures 1-0 Football
In any season, teams will pick up one or two surprise victories and freak results. Our win away at Spurs, or our win at home to Liverpool probably two of ours last season. We also empathically thrashed Norwich. Yesterday was nothing other than that, Palace didn't turn up and collapsed like a sack of s***. mackems are still favourites to go down, as they have one of (if not the worst) squad in the league. Emphatically? Would love a team of empaths like. Aww, this lad's upset! Let's give him a cuddle. Fuck sake

There's no way he'll leave as long as he's still getting anywhere near whatever he's getting now in my opinion.
Paully
Defoe especially has been tremendous with the little fella's fight - class act on and off the pitch it seems - cap doffed!

Guest Howaythetoon
Breaks my heart reading about that little fella and other kids in the same kind of situation. That's a lovely photo and rivalries aside, football clubs and players in general do a lot of good work community wise. Hope that bairn makes a full recovery. Sima
Awful situation for the poor kid to be in and top class from Defoe, I bet it's picking the kid right up. In the most tragic of times it's the stuff dreams are made of.
Ketsbaia
Class from Defoe and the club For all the paedo-loving, flying of banners and being racist to your star striker's mam, they sometimes show they're not all bad.
