Billy2Sheds
Comfortable on the ball, decent passer, but he's not a left back. Overlapped well, He did, but he never got his head around the concept of having overlapped and then lost the ball, you need to run like f*ck to get back into position. Not stand there all confused as if this is the first time this has happened. In that respect he was an absolute liability. He's moving to safc so he can be next to his lass in Newcastle. And possibly take Balotelli out on the p*ss in Jesmond again. That is all. I agree. Cost us a lot of goals when he would just wander back instead of busting a gut and try and get back in position
Fenham Mag
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/santon-ive-never-seen-mackem-1403609 Not even a fake headline
Stuy_O
Santon or Billy Jones? I know who i'd rather have. He's an improvement on what they had. Defensively there's little difference.
Dokko
Fat Sam going with two banks of 4 with Santon playing a forward role? I doubt he's going to play him in a purely defensive role.
TheHoob
Are they buying him to play at RB? Thought he was pants whenever he played there.

Klaus
I liked Santon, but I don't really know why. He couldn't defend and he couldn't cross/shoot
Crumpy Gunt
I liked Santon, but I don't really know why. He couldn't defend and he couldn't cross/shoot he had a decent season linking up with Gutierrez but was bang average.

You try to educate some of them and there's just the same straw men thrown in your face with the same lifting patter. Most obsessed and bitter set of supporters going. You even have a West Ham fan on board now who thinks his club is suddenly a super club now because they have increased their capacity; even though just three year ago they had an average of just under 31,000 for a 35,000 capacity when they got promoted. You just cannot talk sense into such a venomous spiteful set of people which populate that forum.
Benwell Lad
http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/newcastle-united-feels-like-a-promoted-club-not-a-relegated-one.1249268/ More pages on us than our new signing Sima and Fish must have some patience to bother with the utter shite that the vast majority on there come out! they continue to call us 1992ers, even after Sima proved they are statistically more like 1997ers. What evers said, the mackem delusion shines on. Vitriolic jealousy has long been the default for most mackems, not just about NUFC but almost anything related to the city of Newcastle too. They really are wound up by this relegation thing and ironically seem more bitter than when we were quite successful

Scoot
They are still a Premiership side but who is getting all the attention? Its no wonder they are foaming. CJust like last time we went down. Still had higher attendances and were on TV more than them. this is why they are so bitter, they'll always be that other club from the North east or that club/place next to Newcastle. Wallsendmag
What really narks them is that despite our relegation they're still stuck there, a nothing club just festering away in our shadow. We still get more media attention, we'll still get bigger crowds, we've still got a far higher profile manager, still signing better quality players than them and their latest signing is only joining them so him and his lass can move back to Newcastle. The only time they've had any attention from the rest of the country is because they knowingly allowed a paedophile to play for them. That's literally their claim to fame. Is it any reason they're so bitter?
Sima
It goes beyond football, Sunderland as a city has zero identity and try to claim every little bit of attention they can. It's why they rush to declare every election, got to have that little bit of attention. Even if we were in the conference we'd still get more exposure than them. I posted over there that they don't seem to grasp the concept of one step back and two forward and it's true.
