got rid of my post as I didnt realise it'd been posted already, now you quoted it   I just caught the end of them speaking about Graham Carr, was that not it?

"MirrorSport understands United are making a final push to seal a deal for Spaniard Benitez tonight.

A successful conclusion would mean McClaren sacked on Friday before, hours later, an announcement being made confirming Benitez — who could then be unveiled over the weekend."

Swear this "he's got no relegation experience" argument is bullshit.  What does that even mean?  We need to win games, he wins games. What more "experience" does he need?

Aye, it's utter rubbish.

Aye, too used to winning. Definitely Overqualified if he expects to pick up a lot of points. Dangerous attitude like that could dissolve the delicate fabric holding us together at the bottom.

These hints at change in philosophy are just making me think back to what could have been had Ashley not set out on his gigantic failure of a strategy in the first place and just supported Kev.

It's a bit depressing to think about really.

Aye I f***ing hate that. Can you imagine us turning down Benitez for a more seasoned relegation manager.

Yeah, let's get Mick McCartney or Neil Warnock in, they've both got experience of relegation battles. P*ss off Rafa.

It's a s*** argument.
