themanupstairs
Don't f***ing sell a player right now unless you get an Andy Carroll offer or are forced to via contractual reasons. It's called common business sense ffs. You're potentially leaving money on the table unless a club buts a sound bid in that meets your valuation. Rafa is not thick, he's not going to sit here and go yeah let's sell Moussa for 5m because he's over rated and s***. He's going to only sanction selling him when someone is desperate enough to pay market prices for premier league players who play for an international team. Despite what some of you discount, it seems to weigh heavily on people who make decisions buying players Sense at last.

Guest
I just want to be able to say, 'I'm Moussa Sissoko, join me tonight where my team mate will be, I don't know, Iniesta'.
mrmojorisin75
If there's a bid anywhere near £20m for Sissoko I'd take that in a heartbeat. Anything less than that not arsed.

huss9
we know the REAL sissoko who is worth £10 max, but his reputation outside of the toon (and in his own head} is much higher so we need to be negotiating a fee on the back of that.

sempuki
Villa and Sheffield Wed have bid £2.5m for Gouffran according to a spurious link on Twitter. Fingers crossed.
Guest
Used correctly he'd do well in The Championship. Should only sell to France.

Stifler
He'd be a decent Championship player. I don't want him anywhere near us though, £2.5m is good money for someone you never use, not even when injuries and suspensions are piling up.

Stifler
5-10 goal championships striker if played regularly? More like he would be able to run with the ball down the wings, his position will never be upfront.
Guest
He was around 8-10 in Ligue 1 wasn't he? Could see him as a 12-15 goal Championship forward.
Kanj
For only 500k to 2.5m they could have Sissoko!
huss9
would rather keep armstrong in our pool of strikers than goufrann. thats if we arent going to sign another. looks like cisse is going to see out the last year of his contract too.

He's has 3.5 years of all his striking instincts being well and truly battered out of him, though.
Guest
Very true. Fitness wise though he'll be way ahead of the majority of this league. That alone puts him in the above average bracket.
Kanj
I'm of the thought process of when you sell a player from your club, you try and force and squeeze the max amount out of them and be a cunt of a negotiated and get your money's worth. If a club wants your player in this day and age with all the fees thrown about, they'll pay a decent premium.
Guest chopey
Shitty arsed watford have turned down nearly £70 million for their two strikers I'm sure we could hold out for a few million more

Ronaldo
Gouffran's been here 3.5 years. In that time he's become remarkably slower and shitter. Get rid to whoever.
