Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

Is there any actual link to him, or is this another annoying Skjelbred situation where you lot keep talking about them despite there being absolutely no link whatsoever?

Weren't we linked with him when KK was here?

I'm pretty sure the 'link' was just a combination of him supporting Newcastle and Kaizero constantly talking about him on here.

FWIW, I watched him a few times on Kaizero's recommendation and he was absolutely nothing to write home about.

Unless we can get top quality i can't see us signing any players in january. Maybe a backup to Shelvey as we really don't have anyone like him. We could also get a few nasty injuries that would force our hand in january but apart from that i don't think much will happen.

I don´t think we should spend anything until the summer unless it´s for a player who can perform at a good level in the PL. No more Daryl Murphys or Grant Hanleys. Alan Judge is a 27 year old winger who has spent his entire career in the Championship.

only thing i'd be looking for in january would be another ball-playing CM as has been said, but one that can be a long-term fixture in the side...cover/competition for shelvey and to keep colback away from the team

they'll probably try and ship tiote again as well

If we go back up we would be one of the top 7 most attractive clubs for players coming to the premiership

How do you assess that,is it not money they come for?

I would say a well run Newcastle United getting 52,000 every week riding the most positive feeling round the club and city for 15 years with Rafael Benitez as manager would be far more of a pull for players than everyone other than  Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs ,Liverpool and manure.

Last time we were run right under sir Bobby 2001/2002 us and leeds had the pick of players after Man U and Arsenal and maybe Liverpool
