Fulham have had their bid for Gayle rejected by #NUFC. [Daily Mail]

Closed for business then.

Until the bidding hots up... if it gets close to £20m by 5pm, he'll be away.

Deja Vu to Andy Carroll day.

Exactly, everyone has his price and if it means getting relegated, so be it!

So fucking proud of Ashley being a brilliant businessman.

Nah, things have changed. He's going nowhere. I'm not sure a bid even happened, but we need to be thankful to Mike for allowing us to keep our best (always injured) striker.

Does this mean we're allowed to sign a keeper now?

Absolutely. Just need to quickly find one that's cheap, available and better than what we have within the next few hours. Shouldn't be a problem.

Does that sign say "Ashley has the runs" and that all the liquid must go?

He's played two games in the last two years. Was highly rated at Santos (linked to Man City five years ago as competition for Hart). Regardless if it reduces the chances Elliot is our #1 and it allows Woodman to go on loan then it would be a good signing.

Craig Hope  @CraigHope_DM

NUFC are waiting for a yes/no from Chelsea re Kenedy, while loan offer has gone in for Southampton's Matt Targett.

Steve Crossman @Steve_Crossman

Contrary to suggestions elsewhere, Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun is with Turkish national team, has not travelled to London. No fee agreed
