Dokko
Not sure if it has been mentioned but the Chronicle reckon Sheff Wed are willing to pay £5.6mil for Hanley which would be a good deal for us Happy with that. Good move all round, he'll be decent for them or anyone looking for promotion from the Championship.
triggs
Do you think Spurs bought Janssen as a first choice or as someone expected to play with Kane? He was 22, players at that age will generally improve. As I already said, clubs do buy young players as backups initially but those players are expected to improve and become starters eventually. I think Spurs knew he would be backup last season but were hoping he would do well when he got chances, so that if Kane left he would be able to take over from him in a couple of years time. Yorkie
Wouldn't have too many issues with Huddlestone for a couple of mill, couple-year contract, like. Reasonable enough back-up.
Ronaldo
Not sure if it has been mentioned but the Chronicle reckon Sheff Wed are willing to pay £5.6mil for Hanley which would be a good deal for us I know I've said this before but it's fucking unbelievable that's how much a decent Championship defender costs. The market in this country has gone insane.

Paully
The current England goalkeeper would be a fantastic signing for a newly-promoted club! I don't get how people are turning their noses up at him as he's far better than what we currently have (Woodman excluded!)!
sempuki
Andre Gray mentioned again (in The Guardian).
Ronaldo
He's much better than what we have, obviously. I don't think anyone's disputing that.

Sho Time
Bakambu is fucking dynamite for Atletico on my FM save - hope we get him based on that.
Disco
Gray is out of contract next summer so he'll definitely be leaving the 1950s.
Yorkie
Of all the players this summer I've never seen, Bakambu is the one I'm most convinced is proper class.
triggs
Gray is out of contract next summer so he'll definitely be leaving the 1950s. He seems well suited to the 1950's given his views tbf
Seymour
He's much better than what we have, obviously. I don't think anyone's disputing that. Burnley fans dont seem to rate him that highly mind I only think hes slightly better than Gayle, possibly on par

Eddy Chibas
22m bid for Bakumbu, from West Ham, already rejected. Waiting for the obligatory "NUFC aren't interested" tweet from "Lethal" Lee Ryder.

Gallowgate Toon
"Indeed the club have made inquiries about several players, most recently including Hull City’s Kamil Grosicki and Tom Huddlestone, Arsenal’s Calum Chambers and Kieran Gibbs, Burnley’s Andre Gray, Villarreal’s Cédric Bakambu and Manchester City’s Joe Hart." from that Guardian article. I'd be fine with Huddlestone being a pure squad option for Shelvey (and someone who can add competition). He can't hack full seasons and/or lots of games, but he's decent enough to come off the bench and play the odd game. A 5th choice CM, ideally. Bakambu aside because I don't know enough about him to comment (he doesn't seem an out-and-out striker?); Hart, Gibbs & Grosicki would definitely improve our XI, with Chambers and Gray arguably better than what we have there now. We could use all of them and we'd still be woefully short in the midfield.
